Thanks for the reply Doug. Light bulb just went on....a bud and I are loading up the toy hauler and heading down to Red Bluff for next week with our 9XX KaTooms. We might have room to take my XR650R with a plate for you to sample. But maybe you don't need all of thos beans to put a smile on your face. For sure would see more of the county side, flowers, ect...w/ the YaMa hauler.
If you are near Crater Lake holed up, ya got to see the lake on a clear day. I think you might have had a cloudy day last visit. Special place. Indians did not tell white man about the lake. It was there special place kept secret for years after white face moved in.

Nice work Doug! I hope you didn't get caught in the winter weather coming over the northern Rocky's right now. I missed it by about 3 hours! If I see a Craigslist ad in Bama, I'm steering clear, you're not fooling anyone! :D I can see it now...

For sale, slightly used Harley sidehack with military heritage. 6 time <strike>rewelded</strike> customized fender. Adult ridden responsibly on back country roads at speeds less than 40mph. Jetting guaranteed to run above 12000 feet. Possible trades include a TW200 or '48 Indian parts.

    Safe travels!

I was just watching the weather in the Rockies and wondering where you are Doug. I just checked the Spot link and last location was back on 9/21 still on the coast.

Hope you on clear roads and keeping warm.

Shit man, you have some kind of eye, I didn't see shit but the springer/chopper/ panhead w the dual sport tires. RTWDoug wannabe?

Seriously tho, a friend of mine was one of the first ADV'ers, on a Harley, through some of the meanest mountains in Mexico. The guy amazes me, and he is an old ass dentist.
IF you read this Milton, I only call you old ass, cuz you are older than me, and I know I'm old.....sorry for the thread jack...carry on.

That look like one ruff trip. Wow! :1drink U Da Man. If you did it again, what bike would you do it on? Or, what mods would you make to your FLH? Maybe different exhaust? higher fenders? Interesting rides you've taken. Thanks, when is the movie coming out?
