Merry Christmas from my barn
Merry Christmas Doc!
Ellen loves the hats.
you got some funny looking reindeer's down there
188 Silke points!
I'm not an X-mas person but happy holidays to everyone. Please drink responsibly. Preferably in a comfy reclined position laughing your ass off at the drunks.
me neither (no decorations or presents)... but I do enjoy the company of friends. House will be full tomorrow, and in case anybody is wondering, I do have my ducks in a row
"I didn't see you" - that was his comment.
I got lucky, damn lucky. I pulled into a gas station and aimed for a parking spot in the back when a parked car took off just to the right of me. I grabbed a handful of break and the front end washed out on the oil/gas/slick crap. Slow speed - just a drop. The rear tire rolled by in front of my eyes just couple of inches... that is one scary view. My shoulder and arm was just as close.
I guess I don't have to shorten the break-lever for the bark busters now
Damn, Glad you're OK.
I think parking lots are more dangerous than the roads sometimes.
Dang woman, agree with above. I don’t like parking lots in my truck, let alone rhe bike. Be safe !
yeah, that rolling tire just in front of my eyes was something else... we took a break and went on:
I had to take advantage of a dry day in the record breaking annual rainfall .... and finally my first gravel ride on the Bumble-Suzi!!!
And yes, the tire choice may not be the best for a muddy/gravel ride, but the bike came that way and I am too cheap to change it right now. The gearing is too high too...
French Broad... the river rose 7 feet in 12 hours yesterday. - here's a fun video of a brand new camper floating down the river.
some of the roads were still a bit "wet"
Great day, great company - I needed some good and brisk ride.
And I am in fucking love - excuse my french - with the suspension.... seems to be just right for my weight. I got it that way and @cycle junkie owned it before.
@NC Rick aka cogent dynamic is a magician!
Glad you're OK! Hope you won't be too sore tomorrow. I hate the second day after trauma like that.
damnit girl …………...to close
glad alls good
I wasn't going fast, still my shoulder is a bit "tender" today.... the hot-tub party I just got home from did help though
Glad to hear you're okay, @Cuttle
Happy New Year!
Yellow DRs are the fastest. Congrats!
Oh and glad you didn't get snuffed in that parking lot! Happy New Year!
With those tires you are running on the 883, I'm guessing you do some gravel or dirt roads. You should post a picture of it in the "inappropriate adventure bike" thread.
That was my dual sport before I got the DR. It is a nice gravel-running bike.
