    I am done!
    (well almost, but done enough)

The DR is back in business and ready for the trip: new-to-me exhaust and header, pressure switch, racks, tires, tubes, sprocket, chain, brake-pads, gps wiring, vapor tech, choke extender, oil, lube and cuttle-sticker :D! I did not get the shock out to get it serviced, but that can wait a few weeks.

that how it looked a few days ago:

Little Guzzi is done too (3 different oil changes :twitch) and ready for Mid-Ohio Vintage days. It's gonna be a busy July :jump

Love Curtis Creek, especially after some good rain. Have fun in Ohio!

thanks - it was dry as a bone, but the advantage is of riding alone you don't have to suck up the dust :lol3

This is a total hoot, I need a pitbike (no way I ride the guzzi in this madness), the swap meet is gigantic..... just shoot me now.

And I am glad it's raining right now, drowning out all that generator noise.

If you are planning to ride up Curtis Creek and back down FS1188 like I was be aware that the gate by the road is open but there is a second gate just past it that is closed. Sucks to have to turn around a 1290 when you are pointing downhill...

The road to the fish hatchery has been closed for at least a year. There is a second one starting near that one the bottom, ending at the brp closer to mt Mitchell. Not sure it's open though.

In other news, practice is almost over, racing starts in a few

DOH! You mean the top gate to Sugargrove is open but there is another gate further down closed ? Dang. I only went down on my wee strom with 80/20 tires and would NOT have been able to crawl up that road.

It's only about 10 feet past the open gate, right on top of the little whoop you ride over. Just enough off the road that I didn't see it before I turned down the trail.
