Damn. I wish I would’ve seen this sooner, but I’m already in Tennessee looking for something to do while the wife is out of town. Are you and @kennyanc competing?

Yep we did. Was fun, line 3 was not too hard. The rest of the day is lounging and watching TT and flattrack.

I own the red TL125 and the Montesa 349.
The Montesa is way too much for me, so it's on loan to a friend.

Decent pics in a few days...

Didn't get too many, just a few after I finished the 3 loops.

We went out and practiced the sections after the event again.. I could clean all but two. Slooow progress, but progress.

Impressive. You are inspiring me to get my bike out and learn to ride trials.

That is a beautiful TY. You should definitely use it for what its intended for.... or sell it to me

I guess I better use it for what it was intended for then because I don't want to sell it. :lol3

Alright... Trials went fine, I had a blast and things are improving (slowly but steady).

Freezing temps Saturday morning before the event:

I didn't take any pics while riding and did my own thing, splitting from the guys. Since they rode line 2 and I did 3 there wasn't much point walking the sections together anyways.
I like that, and it seems to work better for me. The grip was great and I ended up with 31 (13 clean) - definitely an improvement. Overall I could ride all but 2 sections clean.

The guys were still out when I finished, so I followed them around for a bit:

Sunday morning we went out for more practice. Rode some of the sections from spring they seemed much easier. I finally managed to ride up the gully with the 2 steps without dabbing - @wawarides knows that one for sure...

David Aldana.jpg Dave is such a cool cat. I would imagine that he swept the races as he did @ Ashland a few years back...

Pretty much. There was one preliminary he came in 4th... but I think they only had 4 in the class, so he was pretty much sandbagging. :lol3

We need to build you a screen backstop for that van someday! At least on the driver side. It is no fun being hit from behind, after you hit something in the front... DAMHIK!!! Btdt!! Ride on!!!!
