Are you calling me a man now too?
Whatever one wants to identify as nowadays...
Just channeling ZZ Top.
Shit you not, that song just came on the radio.
Aonia Pass this weekend!

Damn. I wish I would’ve seen this sooner, but I’m already in Tennessee looking for something to do while the wife is out of town. Are you and @kennyanc competing?
I will be riding. Not sure if there will be any competing going on....
Yep we did. Was fun, line 3 was not too hard. The rest of the day is lounging and watching TT and flattrack.
Which bike is yours?
I own the red TL125 and the Montesa 349.
The Montesa is way too much for me, so it's on loan to a friend.
Decent pics in a few days...
Looking forward to the pics.
Didn't get too many, just a few after I finished the 3 loops.
We went out and practiced the sections after the event again.. I could clean all but two. Slooow progress, but progress.
Impressive. You are inspiring me to get my bike out and learn to ride trials.
That is a beautiful TY. You should definitely use it for what its intended for.... or sell it to me
I guess I better use it for what it was intended for then because I don't want to sell it.
Alright... Trials went fine, I had a blast and things are improving (slowly but steady).
Freezing temps Saturday morning before the event:
I didn't take any pics while riding and did my own thing, splitting from the guys. Since they rode line 2 and I did 3 there wasn't much point walking the sections together anyways.
I like that, and it seems to work better for me. The grip was great and I ended up with 31 (13 clean) - definitely an improvement. Overall I could ride all but 2 sections clean.
The guys were still out when I finished, so I followed them around for a bit:
afternoon TT and short track under lights
some may recognize the leathers...
Sunday morning we went out for more practice. Rode some of the sections from spring they seemed much easier. I finally managed to ride up the gully with the 2 steps without dabbing - @wawarides knows that one for sure...
Graham after his mx race (missed watching the race )
Weekend in a box:
and I found my new "spirit animal"

Dave is such a cool cat. I would imagine that he swept the races as he did @ Ashland a few years back...
Pretty much. There was one preliminary he came in 4th... but I think they only had 4 in the class, so he was pretty much sandbagging.
and great shirt!
I hate that gully. We hated to miss Aonia and seeing you guys. Glad your thumb is better.
Thanks for posting the pics. I like your new spirity animal.
We need to build you a screen backstop for that van someday! At least on the driver side. It is no fun being hit from behind, after you hit something in the front... DAMHIK!!! Btdt!! Ride on!!!!
