What kind of headlights are those? Hella halogen, or? I want to upgrade my lights but can't decide which ones would suit me best ...

On the last photos there are the stock TRIOM headlights, but I'm working on a version with 60° flood and 30° spot beam. They are from "Lightpartz" and shall have about 50 watts (I measured 34) and about 3500 lumen each. Bright enough for sure ... Still need a solution for the height adaption. And they are not street legal as low beam, so I will may need a third headlight for "liaisons" .... Don't know how and where to fit them without looking stupid.

And I decided to build new (a bit smaller) carbon protectors and will place the stickers on top then.

Not the baddest idea Julien ! I think it will not be a problem to drive those headlights during the day and on the offroad stages at night. But I´m sure even with just the 60° version active and the 30° "high beam" spot off I´ll blind oncoming traffic at nighttime. The front fairing is really fragile at those headlight protector mounting holes, I already cracked the bridge between them just by mounting rubber rings ...

Hmmm, in this case, an better solution could be to mount the light between the two fork tubes (like that, it will not beat the fairing and can be higher enough to light something else than the front wheel fender), with a "clamp". The light will turn with the forks, but I guess it's a turn off for you ;) And it's certainly not a problem for the techical checks, because many baja bikes have a light mounted directly on the upper clamp, and then, turn with the stem.

The headlights are now adjustable and the carbon protectors are mounted :-)
I thought about mounting the low fender to gain some space and fit a very small low beam light underneath the fork clamp, but as you can imagine there is no space left when the suspension uses full travel... Last solution is to place one on top of the cockpit, but it´s still not street legal, because it´s sitting to high then ...

My girlfriend didn't let me park the bike in her flat, but this is somehow fine, too :) Just finished the stickers and headed to Berlin for some riding tomorrow (300km Offroad), hopefully I can take some good photos of the finished bike before it gets scratched ^^

Still no nice photos yet, but enough to give you a first impression :)

Found these photos from the last (?) Hardalpitour and noticed the aux headlights on this 660 RR. Maybe it's an opportunity to add such a street legal low beam headlight for the moments when facing oncoming traffic on the streets.

Indeed ! That's a discrete installation and shouldn't generate much vibrations.

Here comes a street legal low beam solution for the Hardalpitour.

And to stay within the allowed phone level, I will weld this old akrapovic spark arrestor to my db killer. I would need a second one for the other side, maybe someone here has one for ne ?
