To each his own, and no offense intended, but I would take a GPZ red Café over that damn 2021 gray any day of the week !

I saw a red Ninja 1000 today, and I think the same shade would look great on the 900RS, too.

Sounds like we’re on the same page......COME ON KAWASAKI, give us a red one!

They gave us a nice selection of colors over the years on the ZRX.

Agreed! The red/black on the original Ninjas was a classic color combo. A red RS with it's blacked out engine would create the same vibe.

It’s not just COVID production interruption, aluminum, plastic, rubber are also in high demand and costs are way up, as well as spring and summer are always a sellers market for motorcycles.
I’ve put my Z900RS dream on hold until I can get a good like new used one semi-close to home or a new one for less than retail plus markup, plus BS extra fees. Probably have to wait until next winter for a rainy day end of month deal, seems to work with cars anyways

GPZ Firecracker Red would be nice.
I’d like basic gloss black or basic gloss light metallic silver

Early 90s burgundy metallic and black would work too

I also don't understand people panic buying anything at all. We've decided not to buy anything except essentials for the next year at least. No bikes at all until next year and then only if I can get a big chunk of the list price. No discount? No deal, got plenty of other things to do aside from biking. Same with travel, inflated flight or accommodation prices, no deal, no travel.

that and the ZRX1100/1200 are my fav. Kawis. I had high hopes for the 900 Cafe but it just didn’t do it for me.

One other thing you can try - (I read it in the World 900 Forum) - adjust your throttle cables so there is almost no free play in them.
I did that and it really does make a difference.

He does have an RZV aluminum framed 500, but that is actually a steel framed RD500 - the Euro version.

2022 U.S colors are out. For those hoping for black & blue, you're in luck:

I've been holding out for the candy green Cafe. But the black is not bad, maybe time to just pull the trigger. :ricky
