I'd rather find a used vintage lime green. :D

That blue RS looks nice. The Cafe in black is not my favorite, but it does define the shape of the whole bike well, & the Cafe is an especially shapely silhouette. I'd love to see that brown/black seat on my Kawi green Cafe. I suspect it might look sweet.

Boring as hell! Where’s the the bright red/blue, metallic green, and bold orange from the ZRX/Z1000.

IMO mama Kaw did a better job with the stripes on the ZRX also.

Nevermind me, I’m just a grumpy old man that wants a modern lighter FI ZRX......:rofl

I keep looking at the Doremi ZRX bodywork
I'd love that on my ZRS

    That's not ZRX bodywork, it's '82 ELR bodywork !

You're right. The ZRX was a tribute to the ELR. So it would be a tribute to a tribute:D

    Yes. Fake as fuck.
I would have rather had an Ohlins rear monoshock and a CalFab type swing arm in place of the fake shocks.

It looks like all the other battleship grays you see nowadays on vehicles.

I found #000008 on Phoenix CL 10 or so years ago when I lived in Santa Fe, NM. I kept it in my house. Paid 8k for it and sold it 3 years later for 24.5k. It went back to Japan.

My first ELR was the one I raced in production class roadracing in 1982. It was a very low 2 digit VIN, and I totaled it at Bridgehampton at the penultimate race of the season. I still rebuilt it at dealer cost working out of the shop that sponsored me. Sold it to buy the '83 GPZ1100 I ran the following year.
Picked up my current ELR in 1989 (#199), and it's not going anywhere ! :D
