    Hi 87 °F
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>This is the current report for the town of Kennedy Meadows at 5800', we will be camped at Troy Meadows overflow which is 7800' and riding up to 9000'+ on forested trails with lots of opportunity for shade.
Bikes that are jetted for low desert and sand dunes will run like crap up there. Bikes that run good at say Gorman will need a tweak to the fuel screw(in the case of 4T) to the lean side to get rid of the dreaded bog. 2Ts neat little secret VP racing fuel U4.2 ! Oxygenated gas works great for 2Ts in high altitute, be perpared to jet but running U4.2 may avoid the need.
Check this site out, answers to many questions.

More than enough, lucky if you ride 60 miles of these trails. Nearest gas is Pearsonville on the 395.

As long as I can ride single track with no more than 3-4 people.

Anyone has gps waypoint for the campsite?

i have it somewhere, just have to find it. anyone has the info handy? i hope m1jeep puts it on the first page.

the entrance to the site is easy, but finding where the FFs are camped, especially if it's your first time is a little confusing. try to get there when there's still some daylight. maybe we can get the early birds to post signs leading to the camp....:evil

Bring lots of gas, station is along ways, at the bottom of the hill. I will most likely stay four or five days if anyone wants to hang out longer to test equipment.

So, do you guys stay on the dirt, or do you also ride the paved roads?

I was last at KM in July of '07 and took my 2T WR250 (no plate) and had a blast, I've been riding up there for many years.
