Come on Joel, how else will you get better unless you at least try some of the harder stuff? :D

There are a few trails that are uber tough, the rest take some skill, and the balance are noob friendly.

My last time at KM, there was only one spot where we all had to dismount and lift all of the bikes over a vertical rock face that was too steep to ride up.

I'll post some pix of that ride when I get home this evening.

Of course! If you stop at the Ranger station just past the over flow camp grounds, you can pick up all the maps that you need of the trails in the area.

I'll look them up when I get home.

aid will be administered on a cash only basis and only if the patient is conscious and alert, if not I declare a MCI and you get triaged. Which means I roll you over and if you dont breathe on your own I declare you dead we go through you pockets and divide your gear.

Im going to try to get friday off, when are you guys planning on doing rincon? I knpow friday but when friday?

the site is off of forest route 22s05 correct? It looks like a 8 hour drive at 400 miles.

from all the stories iv'e heard, rincon(only suited to advanced riders) is the toughest trail there? but have I never riden it YET! especially if u start @ the bottom, from what i heard its all rocks, boulders, drop offs, on the side of A mtn following a creek w/no shade, and the lower u get the hotter it gets!

i would like to do this friday:puke1, leaving camp by 9am:eek1. 4-6 riders max:evil!
as this will be a long and hard day:strum of riding, plated bikes will be needed cause the road back to camp is street legal and iv'e heard of the rangers giving tickets to green sticker bikes? but again: never been there or done that!!!
any input from those of u that has done it!!!!

rattlesnake is another tough one, but it dead ends @ a river, shafer/ cedar canyon/ sherman pass/ and a few other that are not on the map are all advanced trails!
saturday and sunday we can probably fit in all the trails other than rincon!
i would like to get a group of 6-8 A-B+ riders to do these trails with!
