Hi gang! I've been snoozin'! I'm on summer vacation with my son and haven't been connected. :jkam I noticed DannyG and MonkeyTrick did a pre-ride up to KM...beautiful pics of the single track. Thanks guys for the condition report! :thumb:thumb
I'd like to get up there for a pre-run also. I'll check my schedule next week and chime in with a date.

Correct, i was up there a few weeks ago, and reds/greens ok. even out dated registration didnt seem to be an issue.....they were only concerned with spark arresters. "No spark arrestor, no ride." - ranger bill

we had one expired dual sport and one expired red sticker in our group, and they did not care.

    hope this helps.

:bueller ahhhhhHHHH...and I'm just waking up again! :lol3 That picture brings back some really fun memories! Thanks Joel! For some reason I'm not receiving instant e-mail notifications when there's a new post here. Strange....anyways...bump to the top...as Joel 'the Jackie Chan look-a-like (but much taller)' said, "Mark your calendars! Sept 5-7". I will be leaving work @ noon on Thursday the 4th, trailering up to camp with intentions of holding as many camp spots as I can. Anyone else planning on leaving Thursday?:ear

Has anyone else noticed the Wells Fargo commercial featuring Pablo? I've seen it several times now during the evenings. I was like, "Hey! I know that dude!" :lol3

    Congrats Pablo!

Hi Windrat, there's no gas up there. The last gas station is a Shell station at the Nine Mile Canyon offramp.

Now THAT would be fantastic if we could. Several weeks ago I took the liberty at looking for a caterer...the closest would be in Bakersfield. Probably cost a grip of cash so I figured "forget it". Maybe we can have a giant potluck or something? I plan on bringing carne asada...several pounds. If everyone brings a few pounds we should be good to go.

Good question on the pre-mix...I dunno. My DR has a 160-200 mile range while being liberal on the throttle. Last time I ran out of fuel at the end of the first full day of ridiing. I'm going to bring one 5-gallon can of gas. Bring as much as you can...you may be able to sell it for double the per gallon price up there! :lol3

I personally like the old skool metal cans but they're hard to come by these days. However, the plastic type is available just about anywhere.
