Go HERE to see what I'm talking about.

No specific dates set yet. Likely to be either April 1st, 2nd, and 3rd OR the following weekend 8th - 10th.

Dinner for two nights plus camping. See the thread for details.

Looking for a head count. There is a lead time for this event that will require you to have your money in 60 day in advance. We'll need a good count.

    So, you coming?

Crap, I meant to have the non anonymous poll

this is a river-rafters spot on the Kern River just up from Kernville at the north end of Lake Isabella. AceRph says he's been there for several mountainbike events, and the owner is awesome, puts on a great BBQ.

farther down in the thread, the money came to around $12 for friday taco buffet, $17 for saturday full tritip-with-fxings BBQ, the owner will bring in iced kegs of beer of our choice (on our dime), and camping will probably be about $10/tent, plus/minus 100%. This was assuming we have like 40 folks on Friday and 80 on Saturday.

the real catch is, as SamBuca says, we gotta have the money in by mid January to pull this off.

I voted to be "in", but only if it's after the first weekend in April. That weekend, I'll be returning from San Ignacio (hooo-ahhh!) The following weekend, I'd be in for Friday and Saturday night, no problem.

We rode up there in October and had a great time. I'd do it again fer sure. Lots of roads left to explore... Sounds like fun.

I would be up for this. At this point, any weekend in April works. From the other thread the costs look fine as well.

2nd weekend of April better for me, but flexible to be sure.:deal

Costs, site and riding looks great! The only issue is the type of unsavory charactors these gatherings attract :freaky :beer :poser

the campground needs 50% $ D-60 and the other 50% D-30... so I figger whomever is the organizer should have 100% on D-75 :rofl

assuming mid april, thats actually the end of january, maybe the first week of feb.

This needs to be a sticky. IMO

I can't say for sure at this point but I'll be sure to commit well before what looks to be a late January cut-off. :deal

OK -- I'm in -- wife says shouldn't be a problem. And hey -- if I flake, it's not that much money to lose (ie, if I flake, you keep my deposit).

Have we worked out the $ yet? From the thread, it seems like $10-15 per night food + camping (where camping would probably be $10 each if you fit 3 tents per site). That's pretty cheap.

I like having 4 threads (to my knowledge) covering the same gathering :huh - can we consolidate/merge all of this yet? :beer

If I vote anymore on yet another thread, I'll have to turn myself in to the list authorities :rofl
