They have mentioned their height a few times.

Down in Portland, quite often...if they're dressed in drag.

damaged or abandoned watercraft can be found along all the northern rivers in Canada, nothing unusual.

Albany River, no settlements within 50 miles...

A badly damaged tin boat is cause for an underwater search? Hoping there is more to this story, such as....was there a motor found because they sure didn't do that damage by hand or by paddling into an object. Ice damage?

You see the size of that river! The RCMP came to their senses and said shit man thats a big river! What a waste of time and money.

RCMP apparently thinks that they're still up near Gillum, new roadblock at Sundance yesterday near where they found the burned RAV4.

I'm not surprised: huge resources are assembled, public expects action and so they might as well keep 'em looking busy until some useful tips or evidence appears. Don't think Law Enforcement has been able to catch a break on this one....not so far anyway.

Weird.. items found and are a direct link.

Thinking out loud here. POI, lol.

Jump in boat, go north (down river) towards churchill, die on the way, drown, whatever. They'll never be found.

Jump off boat, leave shit to lighten load. Fuck knows where they are.

Put stuff on boat that they won't need and never get on. Decoy.....

Bringing the dive team in though.... will work for a lake, that's a big river and pretty fast moving. A dead body will be kms away. A dive team can't find that.

Interesting what they found. But they say they won't disclose at this time.

Doesn't explain the extensive damage to the boat's hull. Take a lot of force to do that. So, the RCs found some personal stuff from these two suspects?

Ice, there is busted up boats all over the place up there. Searching a fast moving muddy river because they found a damaged boat is ridiculous! The search on land that they set out on is a mathematical long shot to begin with. Searching the river is about as easy as going to the moon to make sure that these ass hats didn’t go there to escape! My frustration is not meant for you but as a tax payer I am getting a little pissed about the waste of resources on these 2 clowns.

I agree that ice would have done the boat in. But if finding stuff, gotta give it an honest chance I suppose. I think the public, especially the folks around there, are happy that they're still trying.
