Amazing story. I know I shouldn't say this but I would eat up book written by this guy.
Survivorman and Mantracker have at least provided an unequivocal answer to their location..."the subjects aren't hiding in the woods in Manitoba".
“I haven’t heard anyone say we’ve seen them go into the woods with an axe and banana, no one ever said that.”
“I’m half thinking they met someone in a big town … and they’re long gone to Texas or the Bahamas.”
Once Upon A Time......in Manitoba.
I don't care much for the fate of the bastard(s) who left that young couple physically 'unrecognizable' or who would slaughter a kindly old gentleman who was out furthering his educated understanding of the beauty of BC. I keep this in mind when the urge to create any form of legend around this manhunt arises.
I was on the Cassiar the same day this started. I could have passed them at some point. Maybe we need a “is Canada safe?” thread like they have for Mexico :). I’ve remote camped all over Canada and Alaska and never had an issue.
This just in - 2 suspects Found dead
A job well done. Autopsy results soon.
I have gotten a lot of laughs out of all the suggested input from various posters.
I would guess , they saw the end of the line would come soon.
Ha! Good luck with that. I started an “Is America Safe” thread and the mods dumped it to the basement because, how dare. After all just look at the news the last few weeks. America is the safest damn place in the world!
My heart goes out to everyone who knew the victims. What the hell is wrong with people.
Well done to the folks finding a boat, causing suspicious, then finding belongings and them in the end.
Good to put this to rest for the neaby folks.
Glad to hear this is resolved.

Really? I'm just hoping you're kidding.
The whole country of Canada has similar amount of Murders as the city of Chicago.
"The agency said there were 660 reported homicides in Canada last year. 2016"
"The city(Chicago) saw a surge in gun violence in 2016: 762 murders"
Last week, Halifax had it's first killing for 2019. It was drug related.
Pretty good stats, overall.
Interested to hear the full report, how these 2 fuckers died. Also, they said the boat was a critical piece of evidence. I don't really understand that comment, as seeing an abandoned boat wouldn't be a big deal.
And said the boat was found upstream 8 kms from the rav4. Did they drag the boat up the shoreline with their belongings.
Chicago?...might still be known by that name to some, but mostly it's now known by it's street name, Chiraq.
anyway, i hope that the RCMP trades in the dogs they were using up there, they need some new dogs that can smell dead bodies from a reasonable distance.
Seems my 93 year old neighbor was right. He said "they didn't get far the bugs will eat them alive." Probably what happened
Good for the bugs. I always thought bugs useless. I stand corrected.
Flin Flon is Manitoba's Banff
everything, as I said.
I bet that we won’t hear more facts and this story will soon subside in the press.
