Yeah, nah, broken bike, broken body. Look forward to living vicariously thru all the photos & ride reports though....
Bollocks, driving around central Otago drinking wine with SWMBO.... (I'm not really complaining, doing the Haka and Danseys as well as any other bits I can find) Doing the long way round (Taupo) this weekend, so if anything other than me falls off the bike I will give you a list of things to look for!
Me and some mates are planning a 250 ride through Fishers & the 42 - we last did it the weekend before lock down. Wondering if we should plan for that weekend. Perhaps we could meet you mob at National Park if we can line it all up?
Hi Steve, I just caught up about your accident last week. Hope you heal up fast. My ride reports are never up to your standards, so hopefully someone else will do a better job.
Hi A Hi Andrew, on Sunday morning we go through Fishers track before we get to National Park and then do Fishers track from south to north. So Taumarunui would be best to catch us for both tracks.
I that 42 first or Fishers x 2? I am hoping for a very quiet night at work, if it is, I might be able to attend, otherwise, I'll be sleeping...
Hi @Adventure Moto I'm keen to come down form Auckland for this and was wondering , is there a gps file/route available or will it be a follow the leader type ride from the meeting point?
Sunday Morning is back roads out of Taumarunui and then through fishers track going uphill from Retaruke ( west to east ). Then lunch at national park and then the 42nd traverse from south to north.
Is normally a follow the leader type ride using the cornerman system. I have got a route on google maps already done If I can get time over the next few weeks I will do a GPS track
I'm keen, as is a friend on a DR250. I think @NZnic is also joining us. @clintnz claims to have a better offer that weekend
Hi, Is it still on? I am considering joining the pack for Saturday. (If I am accepted) I have done Fishers track on the KLR, don't want go there with the V Strom. Will give a miss to the 42 for sure.
