Gonna try, but got some stuff going on at work that may interfere.
Ok, I should be good, should have a new ride by then as well.
Next time; I'll be on the road on the 14th.
Hmmm not much of a response so far...... I may be on a new bike too....
See you there!
I won't be in town until Thursday.
Put me down as tentative for Wednesday. I'll be in Paris the evening before for Bike night in Paris. I believe DSP will also be in attendance.
We could have done Thursday...but too late to change now
I'll likely walk down to the square for Bike night as well.
I'd ride over, it is further than my creaking right knee would like to walk.
And I like to watch people as they try to figure out what the heck my bastard bike is!
I may even wash it between now and then...
According to google maps, it's 600m from my front door, so I can drink and walk
at the same time?
See you there
IF... I can get my bike running properly I'll come. Otherwise I'll be in my garage trying to get my bike to run properly.
It's a 690. It'll never run like a Deere

Nope, the #%#}*€$! traffic downtown is not gonna let me get home in time. See you all next time hopefully.
I guess it's not running properly then. Had about 10. .....no new faces
Had a good meal and great conversation on the patio. Thanks for suggesting it Scott!
And congrats again on the new place, it is nice!
It is not. But I'm 99% sure I've found the problem.
The Throttlebody requires extremely narrow low voltage tolerances to open and close the butterfly valve.
Since I got water in the connector on our trip back from Wawa it caused corrosion and enough resistance is created to allow it to run but not idle.
I ordered a new connector set from EasternBeaver and it came in last night. But I'm just waiting on a crimper to be able to put it all on and know for sure.
An MIL FI light comes on every once in awhile indicating "Throttle Position not Plausible" which makes sense with my current theory. (no pun intended)
Had a great night yesterday.
Thanks for the tour and hospitality, Scott.
Good to see everyone. I would have had a bigger table if people actually committed to showing up.....
