We are listed in the "tent space" listing. If you (or anyone else out there) are in New Zealand we have plenty of room here to look after you.

A trip to the US is always a possibility (watching a NASCAR race live is on my bucket list - no don't judge me lol)

Where are you in the States?

By the way! You know what the best part of hiding money when you are away is? Finding €100 tucked away a week after you get home :-)

NASCAR is a favorite of mine as I grew up in Daytona Beach, FL, home of NASCAR.

We are now in Southern California, after having traveled the last four years throughout North America, working and playing. There are great roads all around us now. I accepted a job that gives me 16 weeks off a year to play, the tradeoff being I'm on call 24/7 when working.

    Cheers

Where did you stay in Fez. Enjoying your RR. Cheers

It was funny, coming into Fez we were pursued by a chap on a scooter who knew of accommodation, guides etc etc. We could easily lose him as we left the traffic lights (zoom zoom) but he would catch up while we followed a very scenic route into Fez. Luckily as we disappeared into a parking garage, well looked after there (thank you again Carlos) he disappeared.

We have decided to have 3 nights in a Fez, have arranged a guide for tomorrow and will do our own thing on Tuesday. We will update this again Tuesday[/QUOTE]

I will find the details over the weekend (it was good as there was a secure parking garage nearby) and put the details here, and in a pm to you.

In Fez we had two Riads recommended to us by Carlos from Motoxplorers.com

    1) Riad Dar Cordoba

    2) This is next door to the one above and the one we stayed in as the first was full - Riad Dar Tizwa.

    riadtizwa@googlemail.com

There is secure parking not far away from these.

    Hope this helps

KT has started her long trip home, I hope to have her back at the beginning of November.

The £20 I paid for her to be cleaned sure looks worth it!

She left home on 26 February and arrived home today, 5 days short of 9 months away for 3 months of riding. (She went by sea to England and she was in storage for 5 weeks after I left. In that time she has been around the world going to England via the Panama canal and home via the Suez.

    Here she is being unloaded.

Can you overdo the stickers on the panniers?

And for those of you who were surprised that I didn't need to replace tyres, this is the state of them after 18,000 km in Europe and maybe 4,000 kms in NZ, a lot of that with Leanne on the back.

I connected the battery back up and she started easily!

    Hi Mike
    how´s agoing?

Nearly one year has gone since we met.

This year I´m doing a trip trough England and Scotland in June.

Because I was so impressed of your tires, I now bought some heidenau K 60 too. I will report how long they last :1drink

    Best regards to Leanne

Hi Andreas, that year has gone quickly, when are you coming back to NZ?

Things are good here, a nice warm summer and with the beach so close lots of swimming. No job yet but have two interviews over the next week so fingers are crossed. We did a trip away on the bike at Xmas for a week, that was good (did you see my trip report?)

England and Scotland sounds very nice, I would like to get back there.

Leanne is also very good, while I am typing this she is push biking home from work.

    Kind regards

    Mike
