Apparently sky does a Bathurst fanpass for non-subscribers to watch a stream for $15.

I'd hardly describe Bathurst as the great race. It is a good race, but not great.

It'll be a cold day in hell before I give Sky any money. They're only pulling finger because they're haemhoraging customers something fierce now that they've lost their monopoly. MotoGP videopass FTW.

MotoGP FP2 and FP3, and sometimes even FP1 if the weather outlook is poor, are like a qualifying shoot-out in the last 5 or so minutes. Always worth a watch. And kudos to Simon Crafar, too. I think he's settled in nicely and he's bloody excellent! I can see him having a long and distinguished career as pit lane commentator.

Off to Phillip Island next week

Auckland has lots of dedicated (and free) motorbike parking areas. You can see them on the Auckland Transport website. If its a weekday you might need to get there early. Ill see if i can find them and post a link.

Wow what a performance from the abs. Good to see just penalties for minor headhigh scragging too. Well done Nigel Owens, although the weird penalty try requires some explaining???

There was a comment in the Guardian write up before the match that said they thought Nigel Owen might struggle because Richie McCaw wasn't playing so he'd have to referee the match on his own. :jack

    Looks he handled it ok.

Apparently he was wrong to award it for an off-side which prevented a try....he could have awarded it for a no arms dive which prevented a try....apparently

Yeah but in this case it made no difference. Thankfully.

A no arms dive? Can understand a no arms tackle, but a no arms dive on the ground? Anyway , didn't change result. Looking forward to England getting dealt to now.
