This is a used Klim Badlands Pro jacket, size XL. I'm not sure how old it is, but it's definitely not current generation--I bought it used. I replaced the D30 Level 2 armor in the shoulders, elbows, and back. It being used, there is some wear and light fading. The "monkey paws" have been cut out. See the pics. $450 shipped from Castro Valley, CA (SF Bay Area).

I've been an Aerostitch jacket rider for about 20 years. I sure see a lot of Klim gear for sale here on the Flea Mkt. Were you satisfied with this jacket? And Klim in general? (Or did you gain some weight like me?.......). Both Aero & Klim are expensive - and I'm happy w/ my Aero gear.
What say you about this topic?

(I like your jacket - good lookin'). Maybe I need a third $600, "Protective garment".

Thx! Good luck on your sale!

I am happy with Klim gear. I took advantage of a great deal for military members and treated myself to a new Klim suit. Are you interested in purchasing the jacket?

Apologies for the diversion, but would you be able to PM me details of the military discount for Klim? I've been looking for a whole new suit and it would be most appreciated.

What do you mean by the "monkey paws"? I have heard this jacket is heavy, what are your thoughts?

Monkey paws are sleeve extensions with a hole for your thumb to slot through. Apparently this jacket, when new, came with them sewn into the sleeves. They have been removed from this jacket.

The jacket is heavy to hold in your hand. However, it comes with a waist belt and when using it, and sitting on your bike, the weight disappears.
