I can see that if the locking tabs for the sides of the visor are not tightened properly, the visor could have some play.

Everything from mechanical side looks the same, only design features are different. Can you measure the holes diameter on the side and also the complete length of the cut for the screw positioning on the side of the visor?

And one more thing: if the visor is mounted and you grab it on the edge, can you bend it easily or is it quite stiff? Or the ebst test, if you ride over 65mph is the visor vibrating or nothing happens?

Adjusting these screws (marked 1 & 2) can make a world of difference in shield performance. You need to check them frequently.

The plastic shield mount has elongated holes (red arrow), you need to play with the adjustment a little to get the best shield position.

    Take your shield off.
Loosen the 2 screws on both sides of the helmet.
Tighten them just to the point of light friction.
Put your shield back on. Open and close it a few times until you feel the position is correct.
Take the shield off and torque the screws.

My suspension is off my bike getting serviced. I can wiggle the visor a little bit. There is a little play there. I might make a thin shim at work as to remove the play. As long as the sheild moves and doesn't bind.

Yeah, not sure why. I bought some stuff from Motostorm, they sent it with FedEx on the 20th, I got it on the 24th - was nuts.

"Thanks for your mail.Unfortunately we have to tell you that we are not able to ship goods to the USA or Canada because of the divergent warranty and guarantee laws. Thanks for your understanding.
    With kind regards

Looks like they'll ship to Mexico though. Good to know about the coupon, might actually have to order one now. Was kinda disappointed to see the price had gone back up to 250.

*edit* I think the real reason they don't sell it here is that Klim has negotiated that in the contract. Plus the Nishua isn't DOT rated, only ECE, whereas the KLiM is.

Bought. The carbon enduro was 210 euro (its on special), so i had to get a tinted visor, visor bag and a chain link to get it upto 249, then the 50 off.
Lets see how long until it arrives.

Does Louis.eu not have a shipping option to Canada? Even for a Nexx xd1? I can't even see Canada on the drop down menu item to add the country to my customer info.

Edit. Ok I see the above post. I thought that you were talking just about the Nishua helmet though. I guess this is for everything.

I guess you're right. Probably still a warranty thing, although the warranty rules in the EU are pretty lenient, if not more lenient than in the US.

Klim needs to get the venting fixed and soon. Demo'd a Krios and the chin vent vents a lot and no way to shut it off. Cold today at 42 degrees. You can shut the top vent but it really doesn't shut. Crap design for such an expensive helmet. No wonder they have a 30 day money back guarantee in their emails.

To be fair, it's not an expensive helmet. It's a $200.- helmet you paid three times as much for. lol

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so here's mine. I love it. Did they design it from scratch, no. Can you buy the same helmet cheaper overseas, yes. Do I give a shit, no. It's a great helmet, fits my head well and is very light. I'd buy another tomorrow if I needed to.
