Any comparison size wise to your normal helmets?

Sure. I normally wear a large and this one just felt a little too loose for my comfort. I remember trying the regular krios helmets on before I ordered the pro. I was kind of in between medium and large and just went bigger. I think it seems to run a bit large.

You can order different sides padding for inside the helmet to make it fit better. small and medium use the same size shell and Large XL, 2XL, 3XL use the same size shell. Just different sizes of padding inside the shell.

I made my Kris fit better by swapping out the cheek pads.

True. However, since the large is the smallest size using the larger shell, I assume it has the thickest pads available already. Since it's already a bit too large I'm afraid that won't work. I've got to go to the medium shell with thinner pads.
