I like all my bikes it is not the point.

Out of the bikes in production and readily available for purchase in North America SWM Superdual and G650GS Sertao are the closest thing for KLR replacement.. add CRF250L and DR650 in mix.

Well the DR BIG was a disappointment.

Just a updated DL1000. Granted, it will be a great bike.

65% chance we get a new KLR.

How funny would it be if it was the same KLR from 2014, but now with efi?
And emmsions and ABS for Europe?

I don't think 4 decade old oil burner can be made Euro5 compliant. With regards to 65% don't know what are you smoking but I want some of that too.

Hey, man you have the Bob Marley avatar.

You know my supplier first hand.

    :D

Well, they have 3 bikes left.

The mid size class is starting to fill up.
They've had 20 years to build this bike.
I do not think there is hardly any left over bikes on the show room floor in the countries that sale them.
Kawi has been aggressive with the Ninja 400 and the X 300.
They keep pressure on the other Big Three on Tuesday.

As Yogi Berra would say deja vu all over again

But this time, we did not know that the KLR would not show up for 2019.
The last time she was not around was in 1986 or so, right?

Not until Mid November will I let go.

But by then the KTM 390 ADV will be here, so it will be all good.

You just can't let that go can you?
It was only 08 and some 09s that burned oil and then Kawi fixed the rings. Later ones had no issue not did any gen 1 KLRs.
I suspect your just a KLR hater.

Early reports are the CSC RX4 is a great modern KLR replacement right now.
Build quickly is said to be tops and probably close to any Japanese bikes built as a price point bike.

So my 6-pack chances are 27.3171%? me think more..
It is not only KLR; other bikes too The steel rings kwak used in combination with lean fueling kill oil rings in no time. Especially if you stopped at one of those Midwest gas stations where they mix e85 into gas for better profit margins. How do I know? I rebuilt them.
But then there is SWM Superdual which is better bike made in Italy out of mostly European parts..who is the hater now?

Looks like the only bike that is not show up for 2020 is the KLR.

The evolved KLR buyer - cheap & reliable, is going to buy a Chinese $5k something RX4 long before an Italian $9k a something Super Dual.

Heck if there is a new KLR in a few days and it's too much for that cheap & reliable buyer, the RX4 might out KLR this new KLR.
