20° here today, with light snow and icy roads. Figures my day off would be a rough one, lol...

I rode in that crap weather that moved through TN last night. Pissed some folks off because the interstate was a parking lot and I opted to take the shoulder route. Knobbies hooked up good in the grass off of the I-65...lol

Done this more than a few times! Commuting on knobbies is the only way to go! lol
I had a cop flash lights and blip sirens at me as I went by one time, and I was like "Watchu gonna do? You're stuck in traffic with the rest of 'em!"
    Neener neener haha.

No cops were pulling any KLR's over last night for riding the shoulder...they would end up stuck in the grass/mud. LOL I keep my knobbies on all of the time. If I wanted street tires, then I would of bought a street bike. I love this shit

I try to keep a variety of bikes for different purposes, but if I could only have one, it'd be the KLR.

19472AD8-345B-413A-BADF-DD9DB2FDAFA6.jpeg Update to me seat modification. Added 2” of neoprene to the are where I lowered. Took it to the upholstery shop, cause I wanted it finished right...lol. I can fix most things, but upholstery is not my bag. Turns out I like it better back up high. It is much more comfortable now with the neoprene inserts.

Well, whatever the question was I am quite confident that the answer is actually spelled K..L..R..6..5..0.

I love my KLR, if I could lift into my bed, I'd sleep with it!

Beautiful early December day! I totally needed that. Rode for a few hours in and around Hickman and southern Williamson counties. Took a break by the pictured creek, leaned up against a tree and ate some lunch where there was no cell service. 86D2F875-BD05-461A-AF13-8DF7AB90A1C5.jpeg F12A1B4C-18BB-466F-8905-070ED0AA83D8.jpeg 6A8D06FA-49DA-4AB1-84FF-77725A7C8DC7.jpeg 4E01C351-941C-4A08-ABFA-DE29C42354B1.jpeg 8ECAA50B-35F1-4026-B4BB-303CA0E6F639.jpeg 86D2F875-BD05-461A-AF13-8DF7AB90A1C5.jpeg

Thats awesome! How does the KLR handle in snow? Haven't had the chance to ride mine in snow yet.

Seeing that picture makes me want a KLR even more than I already do. This may be the year I sell one of the Airheads and buy me a KLR.

You won't regret it. My only regret is that I didn't buy one of these twenty years earlier...lol
