Short answer - yes
Long answer - yes, I think so.
Yes it fits. Mine is like a biker chick, everyone in my riding group has used it, from 250xc's to fe501's. I replaced the bearings and rubbers in it after 5 years of torment and creek crossings, and it's been great
The old Lc4 uses the same cush hub from early 90’s until 2006
because I put a 640 ADV wheels set (with chush hub) on my 2010 exc 530 , I can confirm it fits without any modification.
and to help here, this morning I put this old 640 rear wheel on my 2021 exc 500 and that fit perfectly too....
proof in pictures:
so 2010 exc 530 and 2021 exc 500 same dimensions:
the 640 cush hub on the 2021 500
hope it helps
Thanks buddy. I sold my 530 exc 4 years ago, but plan on getting one again one day.. (a 500 exc that is) and i have kept the old cush hub wheel, so its nice to know it still fits…
Is there much difference in weight? If so is it noticeable? Thanks.
It's definitely heavier, and it's sprung weight, the worst kind but I doubt you'd notice it unless you were jumping the bike.
