These are the ones I've got. I've only just installed the rear two. I can't recommend them yet, but you'll see in the picture they are really bendy. And cheap.
Just remember not to join the black wire to the black wire. The black on the KTM/Husky is NOT the negative, the brown is (and they don't work if you reverse the polarity, unlike 'normal' blinkers).
i.e. the blinkers have black and red, the KTM blinker wiring has black and brown.
Do you know how I know??!!
I know, I know, I should have tested both polarities before I tidied it all up.

And page 101 of this thread has a lot of info on good connectors.

The whole purpose of a diode to prevent reverse flow, light emitting or not.

    Yep, brown is negative.

The bendy indicators are not only brilliant but cheap. There is a flasher you can get thats plug n play. Alternatively to those huge resisters you can mod the wiring up front otherwise indicators borh sides flash because of the dash indicator. Ill try and find the info.

These are the indicators i run.

These are the diodes you need to implement into the wiring mod. Very simple mod.

thanks guys, i have had a wee spend up on eBay, got the 2 pin adjustable rate flasher relay, a set of 4 bendy indicators and some 1N4001 diodes for the indicators light.

The motominded package turned up yesterday, so this information regarding the indicators is good timing.

This is the super mount v2 and their dash.
Looks to be very well thought out, and we'll made, bit it ain't cheap.
The dash comes with a double 3.0 amp USB charger with integrated volt meter, and a push button on/ off switch that I will hook up to the heated grips.

The ktm wiring is a bit of a cluster fuck to be fair.
I see on the 2020 models they have tidied it up a lot, with plastic guides over the radiator hoses to prevent chaffing of the wiring .

I am also trying to make a poor man's version of a Baja designs light.

    Early stages yet.

Looks nice, let us know what it's like....

Just ordered the V2 mount and the Epic light setup but I didnt get the dash, let me know what you think of it... are you installing an ignition with a key as well?... will let you know how the Epic setup goes.... looks like the mount tidies the loose cluster fuck behind the headlight nicely....

    Not using a key switch.
I will leave that hole vacant for the meantime.
The epic is out of my price range at the moment, I still have to pay for an IMS tank.

I will advise on the rack when it arrives.

So when is a 50mm fork cap not a 50mm fork cap?

Was swapping over the fork springs in the 500 and being a cheap bastard did not want to buy a fork spanner. Took the forks and springs to the only two MC shops in Port Lincoln. Both had 50mm fork spanners for the caps but neither would fit. Could remove the fork caps with the shifter but couldn't undo the bottom nut as the shifter would have screwed the caps. Luckily my neighbor is a mechanic/auto electrician and had a 50mm socket. Worked a treat.

The 50mm socket would fit the caps but not a dedicated fork spanner. Anybody have any insight into this?

Not the usual terrain - Hastings Street, Noosa. It’s now the coffee run bike. More agile than the Harley crowd. Only way to be guaranteed a park!

Have just heard some interesting info about the fuel filters (in the tank) getting sucked inside themselves with crap. Even with running clean fuel and a tank sock filter.
Apparently a main cause of the bike losing a bit of mid-range. Where are you guys picking up your fuel pump filters from. I'm trying to find who sells them it's something like Big Bike Adventure tours at Newcastle who supply them at a fraction of the KTM price....anyone have any info or contact link/phone? (It's not the email link google found to a Mark Cockerill is it?)
