anyone replaced front brake rotor? what did you do about the little spedo magnet? i saw some on ebay for 54 bucks- alot cheaper than stock and they have hole drilled- but no magnet. do the stock ones come with the magnet on them? thanks
If they're the cheap Typhoon branded rotors beware the hole is a loose fit for the OEM magnet carrier. I used some JB to ensure the magnet aint going anywhere.
Anybody know where I can find a comfort seat for my 625SXC with 18l tank? They seem to be unavailable new? Anybody got a good secondhand one they want to part with? Cheers.
just got my 06 625sxc delivered to my door. cant wait to get out on it - now just have to sell the xr
Wow that is cool! is it stock? please post some pics. i have not seen one later than 2004 yet. They just took mine last week for shipment to Korea. i gotta do a year over there and thank God i will have my KTM with me. things that made a difference for me are of course sprockets, open air box, and re-jet. My bike used to back fire at high RPMs and loose power. After i opened up the air box and re-jetted the carb- wow much better!
i did mine cracked and got all fucked up just got these rims off ebay called gforce for just under 500 new. and they look so good on the bike
Post some pics please! i saw those wheels- but they do not have a cush hub. Is that going to cause damage to the trany/drive train because no cush hub????? Is it just going to start breaking spokes because the hub is stronger??? dont know- so i called munn racing (KTM parts dealer) and ordered a complete rear wheel of 640 adv with the cush hub. Cost about 550 for the rear only (didnt think to mess with the front) Bolted right up no issues- also came with 2.5 rim instead of 2.15. So now i have a piece of mind that i am gtg on the street and off road. Cause i ride hard on both. I still have the stock wheel that i will put full knobbies and a big azz sprocket on for the dirt only. i will just have to watch the hub. When that is worn out i can get one of those inexpensive kind for dirt only...or something like that...thanks for the reply.
will take some pics this weekend when i get a chance to take it out. its set up quite welll with with the large tank, comfort seat, pack rack so i will be able to do some decent miles on it only thing that needs to be done is to work out how high a can make the risers without getting new cables whats the riding like in Korea?
i was stationed there about 10 years ago but i didnt have a vehicle then. i dont really know what the laws are for off road riding either...i will have to ask around when i get there. i got a helmit cam so i can post some video. My bike wont even get there until july/Aug...
bike looks ready to go- do you have alot of places to ride there? I have the same tank set-up as you...
