The PF kit might be Perfect for your needs !
If you do a lot of rides to cafe's and an occasional cobbled road to lunch !

But if you are riding the 690 in rough off road conditions and maybe some rally events
you need a bike outfitted with high quality parts and intelligent design !

With the KIT690 you get KTM factory parts and beautifully made additional parts to
create a little rocket ship ready to ride the World on .

In the long run it will be money well spent !

Thats the previous model front fender .... from the 690 and first gen 450 rallys. Its available in clone form from a lot of other suppliers in Europe as well as Perfect Fairings ... These guys in Poland (https://dakarparts.com/en_US/c/KTM-450-Rally-Factory-Replica/16) who build carbon rally parts for the likes of Dakar car winners MiniAll4 Racing, also do 3 different versions of that fender .... in glass , in carbon, and in prepreg carbon, at various prices from 160 up to 350 EUR. Andrea Dianda, an Italian rally enthusiast, is another guy that makes very good quality low 690 fenders but has no website and is contactable thru facebook.

Both of the blue bikes look terrified of that badass moto in the middle . I'd describe their visage as a gaping maw .
Like they've just seen an alien predator ! :chace

    Loving it .... [IMG]:)

But will make some changes to the luggage rack. All the 690 racks out there (apart from the Rally Raid soft rack) are based on the Touratech piece. Lyndon does a few mods to the touratech unit, but the existing issue for me is that the main luggage support zone is (typically for German made luggage systems) too high and too far back - they make them so you can have a pillion and luggage. I wont be taking pillions on this bike. So later in the year I will get it "cut n shut" to move the loops forward and lower
