Yeah, I would not want to do that!

The KTM dealer in Chattanooga has been very accommodating for me. Besides, the son has the same first name as my youngest boy! :lol2

There is still only 1 mile on the odometer, so I haven't really ridden the bike to know for sure. It is only a hunch that I want a little lower gearing.

Edit: Got a 48 tooth sprocket on the way. Now, trying to find a 116 link 520VX2 chain with a press link.

Hey @JerryMac would you be willing to fabricate one of these counter-shaft sprocket bolts & washer kits for me?
My issue is that I store my 701 far from where I live, so I can't fab and test fit. Where I ride out west (no support truck) it really needs easy fast light-weight gearing changes from day to day; for instance one trail is low gear, then to ride long stretches to the next spot really wants tall gear. It would be great to keep the same chain and fewer parts to haul on a long trip.
I bet if you made a batch you could sell a some here on marketplace classifieds.
I'll surely pay for labor too. PM me if you can, please

I used the KTM Powerparts Z- Ring and Sprocket. Used this stuff before, it's top quality. Plus Orange :1drink
