Motorcycles can be such time wasters :)

    Blingy Handguards..
    BB Carbon Handguards 060619.jpg

Let the real noise be set free... Much more better - Sounds AWESOME!!!!!!

akro with DB killer removed 060619.jpg

To release the hidden DB Killer screw within the end cone I followed the hole position dimensions linked via the FAQ... Aaaah, but not quite correct. There has been a dimension of 35 or 32mm measured back from the end of the muffler outlet... But vague visual reference given..

I went 32mm and drilled a 10mm hole but scarified the tube tunnel leading down to the screw... Go 25mm measured plumb and parallel with the very end face of the muffler - A Dia12mm hole will easliy give access to the 4mm allen key headed keeper screw.
NOTE: You need to drill the hole 'parallel' with the muffler end face (as viewed side on) centered on the pressed depression in the muffler skin...

    YRMMV :)

I'm officially picking up two 790 R's on Saturday. For those that have them in the United States, have you purchased a bash plate and/or luggage rack that will support mosko Moto?

I'm not crazy about the stock luggage rack. Which aftermarket one should I get? Looking for something I can put a big duffel roll bag on, with lots of strap mount points.

What didn't you like about it? I ordered P/N 60312978044 with my bike, which looks like it'll support a nicely sized drybag and has two tie downs on each face.

I'm picking my bike up Saturday though, so I haven't actually seen it ON the bike yet.

The top surface area of the stock rack is too small, any decent sized duffel is gonna droop on the sides. Also there is only 1 strap slot on each side. I guess they intentionally made the stock rack as basic as possible to get people to spend more money on their powerparts rack.

I just mounted my Kriega US-30 on there and it sits pretty well but anything larger than that won't.

Sorry, I mis-spoke. You're right, the stock tail platform is pretty small. I went with the KTM OE "Extended Carrier Luggage Rack", which is what I was referring to. My mistake!

Am out in glorious winter sunshine running my R in, some Hwy, B, C and D roads... Awesome thing it is!
The only problem being the many questions at fuel stops... KTM, like WTF is that?

Love this ‘digital’ little sister, to the ole 950!
Honks along the Hwy, overtakes with ease (160kph + easy)... CC has cut out a couple of times on choppy road surfaces... A bit weird.
    Nimble is an understatement,
    Brakes, outstanding!
    Uncorked Akra, an aural joy!
Screen at low position is perfect for this ‘average Joe’.

Can we crack the TFT screen to increase the font size? A little hard for my old eyes to see the detail info, but the Revs and KPH are mostly what I need...

Thanks KTM Peoples! You have delivered.
The wait has been worth it - Bliss!

I went with the KTM OE "Extended Carrier Luggage Rack" and the 'Mosko Moto 30 Duffle' fits like a glove.

Already posted this in another thread, but makes sense to repost it here I guess: I use the Enduristan tail pack and Perun luggage rack with subplate. Really happy with the combo! The tail pack looks somewhat bigger in the pictures than it is in real life (8 litres capacity). Plenty of mounting options on the Perun plate, a quality piece of kit.

The Perun rack comes with an optional sub-plate which as far as I understand is only necessary if you plan to remove the stock grab handles. Why are people removing the grab handles? I would think they could be useful, another extra thing to tie stuff to. Is it purely a looks thing, or do they interfere with luggage in some way?

The Perun rack comes with spacers to remove the grab handles standard. If I understood him correctly the sub plate just makes the rack sit lower.
I removed the handles because I don’t need them but others have said that it does interfere with the luggage.
