They are Fastway Adventure pegs. They are sending me new springs as the ones that are in the kit do not fit correctly.

There is so many opinions on how decat or not will hurt your engine in any way if you don't remap the ECU.... Is there anyone in here who actually knows this who can confirm or advise against it? To me, it sound like this is one part ALOT of us don't know shit about.

A little loss in power = no problem
No gain in power = no problem

I'm in it for the sound, and only sound! the weight loss is no shame either, but that's not my main reason. The stock exhaust just don't cut it :p

Rottweiler Performance (http://www.rottweilerperformance.com/) just got their hands on a 790 R. We will know very soon.

I didn’t weigh them. However, the weight savings felt like about 3 pounds to me (not precise).

    The Acerbis X-Factory fit nicely.
Just need 10mm spacers on the inner mounts to have enough room for the levers.
Cable routing is much better than stock.

Is the 12v socket on the dash wired into the loom or on one of the ACC connectors?

I had my heated grips fitted by the dealer and they wired it to always on. Since then my 12v socket shorts out USB adaptor plugs if I insert them.

It's going back to be fixed, I'd just like to be a little more informed.

I've had 4 of his seats (690, 990, 1190R, 701). The seats are made to your spec, choice of materials, color, etc. All have been great.

I am thinking about replacing that 12v socket with a marine dual USB socket.

Can't say for certain as I didn't pull the loom apart enough to see the connections to the 12V accy plug. I suspect the power outlet is connected to the 10amp constant Accy wiring though. Odd that it would be causing the USB adapters to short out when plugged in though unless perhaps they somehow got the polarity reversed on the accy power outlet.

    Guys,
I've got a 99 4 Runner equipped with air bags in the rear coil springs. I carry my KTX 350 EXC F on a hitch hauler with good results.

    Can my 4 R carry a new KTM 790 (450lbs ish) on a Versa Hauler ? Hitch is a Class 3

Agree. I have a tall seat by them on my 950 Adv S and love it.
Very interested to hear what feedback you get from them; as I will be looking for a tall seat for my incoming (? Soon :( i am #1 on the list at a Houston area dealer and still hasn’t arrived - despite another one here getting 4Rs and 3Ss last week! :( ) 790R.
    (36” inseam; so I’ll want high-rise. )

I think you need to send them your seat and they add foam/new seat cover.
Interested in hearing expected turn-around time (no seat= restricted to trials riding only!); rise/foam options; cover options...

Coober in Germany says there was a big power loss with decat. Sounds plausible, but definitely am waiting for Rottweiler to weigh in. I will take their word as gospel.

Thanks yeah I suspect that's what they did. It was working fine for 5000kms before they fitted the heated grips. And before it was not wired to constant. It only worked when the bike was turned on.
