They work fine in the cold ;)
Pic from this morning, tbh had to drag my feet and go super slow when on the iced over asphalt.
Still had an amazing day with 150km gravel and dirt. 20200119_092713.jpg

Sweden is warm enough to ride in january? I haven't ridden mine since early november, way too cold and even if there's the occasional warm day, the roads here are covered in salt.

Ditto, for the most part. You probably just got the snow dump that we got. Definitely has the winter wonderland look up here now. -30C the other day. Shot this from the 2nd level of the chalet today.

The south is, if you stick to the coast.
Normally we would have snow like @TrailTrauma here right now, but it's been arriving later and later the last decades. :dunno

Hi Orfeas, how is the SC Rally Raid sound (with db killer...) compared to the stock?
No torque loss at low revs (2.500/3.000)?

Hey, well I really didn’t notice any performance loss but tbh I replaced the stocker on day 2. The sound with the dB killer is just a notch heavier than stock. It’s not annoying at all! I would say it’s similar to the T7 stock exhaust if you had the chance to see one up-close...
..and that’s why I removed the dB killer now and enjoy the twin bass sound! Love it. Planning to install the dB killer back on as soon as I remove the cat. Hopefully I will have the same noise level as now but minus the cat weight.

who's pannier racks are on your bike? They look symmetrical, not asymmetric ( biased towards the pipe side). Is that correct or is it just the angle of the photo?

Those are the OEM case carriers: https://ktmtwins.com/products/ktm-case-carrier-system-790-adventure-r . It's the angle of the photo - they are wider on the exhaust side.

Hi Orfeas, the orange front mud guard, does it come with it in the 2020 model? Or is it from other model? Direct installation? Thanks

TT put on SPIKE TIRES, now, immediately, go out and enjoy the snow.. Spikes have amazing grip on big bikes and gives you whole new perspective of this hobby.

It should look like that here too but seems to be eternal fall this year.. there's just enough ice everywhere not being able to ride on knobbies .. can't believe it's almost end of January.
Most of enduro tracks are closed until ground freezes enough not to wear out with spike tires.

Wen't to cut my own enduro track around the house, should be able to wriggle few km track into this young forest.
At least I get to start the orange engine, grab the bars and go full throttle in the bushes :super
I have planned this few years already so pretty happy to get it finally started .. if weather stays like this soon I have a place to ride :nod
    Screenshot_111.jpg

Never been like this before on this side of Bothnia gulf but I agree it's been getting later and later every year.. we should repeat January this year to synchronize seasons with the weather.
Luckily daylight gets longer and longer, so damn dark without snow. I'm afraid if the winter still comes it will last until midsummer. :(:
