So far I like them. Quality seems to be good, but time will tell.
Price wise a little bit cheaper than the KTM touratech option. Also narrower.
Bumot also sells soft luggage that fits the same racks. IMG_20190531_203620631.jpeg

Thanks for this video. Looks like a very capable off road bike and definitely peaking my interest. Selling my Tiger 800 XC this summer and looking for the next adventure bike for possibly Africa.

Yep. Visability is good. Some folks prefer to have their GPS mounted higher, rally road book race style. Just boils down to personal preference. ;)

790s finally touched down in Oregon, shoutout See See KTM for letting me spend an hour detailing this steed in their shop.
Got a third of the color wheel covered, and the entire spectrum of ADV weight classes. Thrilled with this thing.

I'm still not an owner, but this seemed as good a place as any to post the 790R that I had for a bit. Finally getting around to getting the videos edited. Sorry for the weird microphone stuff; I'm not sure why that happened and gave up on fixing it after struggling for a bit.

Awesome vid. Nice to see the bike getting put through it's paces!

I've been basically blown away by mine so far. It has met my rather lofty expectations. :)

It's going to allow me to push further into interesting terrain while traveling/exploring. I've already discovered it's not too bad to pick back up! That's a confidence builder in and of itself for an old(er) rider who likes to go off solo into parts unknown.

What I'm really impressed with is that I haven't seen any videos or photos of an R in its paces that I wouldn't take my S to or on

That's because the differences between them boils down to ergonomics and the pace that can be obtained in rough terrain due to differences in suspension. What one can navigate surely the other will too.

I’m in the same boat, getting my standard next week, but I’m no longer into the speed. I like meandering through the trails. Can’t wait to get this bike and try it out!

Excited to leave the heavy water buffalo of a 1200GSA to this.

I'm not sure if you're married or not, but damn, if you are your woman must be thrilled with your prowess in colour-highlighted accessorizing! Bravo man. :)

Haha, yeah married and she's proud that I'm able to dress myself without looking like Forrest Gump :D
But tbh, having KTM it's pretty easy to make it look f00kin-awesome :super

You guys will love it. If you're into gravel roads and trails with a few bits you have to think about before negotiating them you will not be disappointed. Awesome bike
