That's 2 cents well spent can't argue on that, as a matter of fact I don't want to argue at all only discuss the subjekt and I only trust scientific data aswell.
But :lol3 my point was only in reference with the OEM light, and I havn't seen any data on the output on that one anywhere...

The BD lights is on a whole different level no question about it, But :D I also meant road legal lights and as far as I know they are not, atleast not in the EU...

For me I'm sure the LSK will do just fine, up here in the north it's never really dark at all in the riding season (when I ride nowadays anyway)
and compared with the 990 Adv lights and especially to the Husaberg OEM embarrassing excuse for a light they will be a tremendous improvement.

    Cheers :thumb

The oem led low beam is pretty damned good, best I’ve seen stock. The high beam is fair. I plan to add some aux leds to boost visibility and amp up the high beam.

Baja Designs generally get my vote. Why? Beyond output, is the quality of the build, being beyond Mil spec, being completely rebuildable as well as having optics which you can swap to several patterns and from clear to amber in a matter of minutes.

Well, I just rode a different MC that gave me a good idea. It had the MRA varioscreen, which means there is a pre-installed visor at the top of the MRA screen that moves in two axis. Coupled with the BMW OEM bracket that slides up/down and tilts, I was able to get a great result. Our bikes don’t have that mount. Madstad makes a mount, but looks to me like it only works with their windshield. But if that mount would work on the MRA varioscreen, I think a real solution would be found.

Puig has a smaller windshield coming out for the 790. This will be the next thing I try.

“Racing” surely doesn’t reassure me. I think this is their alternative OEM R screen for Adv S owners.

    Totally agree.
My winter set up - stock S screen high position, with spoiler mount on top. Winglets removed from headlight assembly. Knock off foldable KTM mirrors. This eliminates the majority of the buffeting and keeps the cold and wet off my torso. Is a bit wobbly and looks ridiculous. Wouldnt spend much time offroad with it.

Puig racing screen will be warmer weather setup, will mount spoiler on if needed. Cheaper to try than a stock R screen.

It looks like more of a windscreen than the R by a little. At 5'10 I find the R screen just a little bigger than it should be to be quiet, if I raise my but about 2" from the seat I get much cleaner, quieter air.

I’m prototyping a new windscreen design now and will test soon. It should quell the buffeting and noise and will look elegant. If all goes as planned, I’ll make them available for sale.
