    Fixed.
The 9X0 was/is the first and last crash-able ADV bike.
Especially with the big soft Safari Tanks!!

It's likely that whoever has the unicorn available first (T7 or 790A) will get my money.

What I really want is a 790 Super enduro!! Stripped down, lighter weight, Single disc offroad oriented model! Fuel range can be added as needed!
My 2008 950 Super enduro is 10 years old and could use a hot young thing to keep it company!

I like the idea and looks of the T7 but based on Yamaha's track record comparing to other ktm models, my guess is it will be 30-50 lbs heavier ( or more)

True, but it might also be $3k-5k cheaper. To each their own. Some people prefer to "buy once, cry once." while others like to tinker and don't mind investing the same amount over a longer time frame. I'm more of the latter, but can talk myself into either scenario.

Yep, hopefully they both come out and we have some much needed choices for the middle weight adv bikes.

It's much like the 640 Adventure and the 660 Ténéré. I'm sure the kato was much lighter. I don't see it being any different with the 790 Adv and the xtz700.

As for the Super Enduro 790 (which a lot of people do want) I'm sure there will be some way to lose some weight somehow and make it how you want it.

I'm sure the 790 Adv will be a knockout anyhow!

I really think the prod version of the 790 will have more of a traditional rally style fairing. I think the slim headlight bezel is just a pre preod thing to make the bike easier to tweak/work on. I like ugly bikes, but hoo-boy, the 790 is a doozy if thats really the final headlight area design.

Here is the new KTM Rally 450. New frame, swing arm, exhaust, and fairing. Hope this new 790/800 gets this look.

9000€ for the 790 duke, probably will be offered an 'R' model as well. My 'guesstimate' would be about 11000€ for an R model 790 adv.

That engine better be damn good...

The development of the bikes with THE balls is over for couple of years guys :) no false hopes on that.
I think they will turn it into some metrosexual useless "duke alike - you must love me" design or they'll screw it completely :D

Thought I'd try and find a pic without writing all over the bike (If it makes a difference!)

I think the general consensus is that this will be the R model and the non R will have the 'standard' fuel tank. Maybe the 950 style tanks.

That bulbous side tank extension GS looking side unholy obscenity is enough to make me not interested in the bike. I sure hope they not releasing it with that, fuel capacity be damned.

I'd have to agree with you there. I don't think i've ever been 100 miles from a gas station before. I can live with limited range.

Opposite here; ran out fuel, had been in places where you either flat out need 250mi range, must pay $1.70 per litter or have to camp and wait until station opens.. 100mi is good for Starbucks runs.

I would not buy a motorcycle with that wart looking thing hanging off it no matter what it holds. Damned UGLY. I asked one of the KTM big guys about the release of the 790 at Barber. He said 2019.
