Those tanks look fine. I hope it has more of the newer rally look when the final side body panels are on.

Looks like a good amount of front wheel travel.

It’s hard to talk how big the bike is. I think that test rider is very small.

I don't so much mind the tanks but rather the WIDTH.... Narrow is better if you ride more than forest service roads. Entry into the tougher areas in the PNW are quite narrow (mean for true dirt bikes). The wider the bike is the more likely it is that you will be stopped by the terrain.

Is it a deal breaker? Most likely No BUT would warrant a serious look to ensure it is no wider than a 990 with crash bars on as that is about as wide as you want to get out here.

Looking at the pictures so far, tbh the Yamaha T7 looks like the business for me.
No doubt the 790 will come with a lot of bells and whistles, eagerly awaiting that Milan show next month to see more of it.

Which one is available first? That may just make peoples difficult decisions easier.

That pic looks like the Rally 450. Nothing to do with the 790.

I noticed an abs ring on the rear wheel in the spy photo. I wonder if it will get the IMU msc electronic package like the bigger adv bikes.

The 790 Duke is set to have the same electronics package of the Super Duke, so I assume the 790 Adv will follow suit also.

That would be awesome if the body lines and tanks were similar to the 450 rally. Would be even cooler if you could adapt the rear tanks.

Except the T7 is a concept vehicle and is not going to be produced. That is the statement at the end of the video from Yamaha.

If the concept T7 was a imported from Japan, Yamaha may be placing this at the end of the advertisement to keep them from getting in trouble with the EPA. Just a thought, "sample" bikes need to be advertised as such.

It will be a crying shame if Yamaha strayed 'far' away from that concept bike for whatever comes next in their production range.
It has garnered significant interest, and they would sell plenty.

A small speedo, remove the race map and leave space for gps mounting, tiny flickers and good to go just like that, thank you. Braaaaaaappp!!!

Is the motor for the T7 a deep sump ? The side view of this bike has always appeared very tall from skid plate to top of tank and seat. Would not impact my 35” inseam but it could mean a no go for shorter riders.

Unfortunately no, was hard to find even that one.

All the talk of the T7; I'm confident the KTM will have it beat for power, off-road capability, electronics, weight. The only way the T7 would win is price! Who knows about looks yet.

I'm sure KTM has had more than a good look at their competitors and I expect them to come out with guns blazing :wings
