Looking forward to it. Couldn’t wait any longer without a big bike.. just purchased a 990 ADV on Friday to hold me over until the dealer call comes in. Glad you all are sorting this thing out for me... saving me lots of leg work

These are the ones I installed, I haven't hooked up the daytime running lights yet. The brake lights on the rear pair work great, you need to tap into the yellow wire going into the brake light cluster.

So what fails on the stock shock? Any idea why? Bad design? Being cooked by the cat? Any fixes besides full replacement?

They come with bullet connectors like most aftermarket indicators. I clip the old lights and crimp female connectors on to the wires to make adapters so I am not splicing any wires from the bikes loom.

Has anyone found good shorty levers yet? Other than the $$$$ CRG's?

There are several 790 threads so I am not sure which one it is in, but yes. Someone posted up some very nice, affordable ones.

The Raximo's seem to be about the same length as the cheap Chinese ones I found on Amazon, 17cm. As you can see they have 790 written on them so they must be good :D

I see so much action on swapping bulb blinkers to LEDs - why is this so in the US? How come you don't get the LEDs?

Because of an ancient DOT regulation that has a surface area requirement on signals. So most LED turn signals aren't large enough, some are like the larger LED arrays on Ducatis going back to the Hypermotord.

Put simply you can't KTM NA bars the US dealers from selling euro-parts to us.

Showing my ignorance, what is the advantage of a shorter pull clutch/brake lever?
