Hi I had a similar oil leak on my new KTM 790 Adv R. I've done 1000K's and is now in for it's first service. Did your oil leak issues get resolved and what was done to fix it? I don't understand how these new bikes have these oil leaks. I have seen number of reported oil leaks. Looking forward to hearing how these were fixed.

    Fogged displays

Thanks guys and girls for all the responses it’s really helped me decide what to do. It sounds as though it’s endemic and a very large portion of them fog up. I think I’ll take pictures and get my problems/claim confirmed by my dealer and then wait until a fixed part comes through the system and change it then.

    Thanks everyone!

Duke has separate container for brake fluid, right? How about using 950SE cylinder with integrated container, that should live longer in the woods.. Do you think 950 hose has enough slack to be enough for 270mm travel too? With SE parts it would be pretty cheap and easy conversion..

The 690 Duke master has an integrated reservoir, and the 950 S brake hose does have enough length to work with 270mm of travel. I preferred the 690 master over the SE master, because the 690 unit has an adjustable brake lever. Also, I was able to find a used one on ebay.

Ok, it seems like we discovered one more tool to distract any ktm rider :thumb

@AdvRonski It seems like I was looking too old stuff 2013-> there is integrated reservoir. Thanks for pointing out the adjustability.

I found these 2 images interesting of the 390 Adventure that is expected to come out for 2020.
Looks like to me same guy wearing the exact same clothes on 2 different bikes. I assume his work attire.
I also wonder how someone would know that the bike he is riding is a pre-release model and get images of it. I found the effort to camouflage the bike quite effective using that layout.

I don’t believe this is the same bike with and without cases. The pattern for the camouflage is slightly different between the two.

If you think that’s blasphemy, you must be one of the guys not amused by my Cagiva 790.

Hi, What was the fix and is your bike now reliable in terms of "no more oil leaks?" Cheers. KJ
