No, I don't want you to try it first. ;) Thats a hefty bill for something which will likely be solved down the road under a recall/wareanty etc. You drill a hole and that huge TFT replacement $ is on you unfortunately.

That sucks. I have yet to put my dealer rebuilt unit thru the ringer yet to see whether I get a repeat failure or not. Soon perhaps.

I found out about the BDR https://ridebdr.com/become-a-supporter/#top membership to get the $500 VIP card when buying a new KTM in this thread. Has anyone used this recently? Any issues? Does the dealer need to do something special?

No, you donate to the silver level and they will ship out your membership package and the KTM card will be in there. I just got mine.

I did the $250 BDR membership and should get the goodies in the mail next week. I confirmed through my dealer that they will accept the card when I purchase my 790 next month. The $500 will go for the KTM add-ons.

I did and it was easy peazy, but it was consumed by heated grips and cruise.

That's where mine is going. Either way it's money to a good cause and saves 250 bucks plus all the other discounts and swag that comes with it.

    36" inseam.

Definite difference with the 'S' seat. The stock one is scooped out.
