Just picked up the Klim Krios Vanquish helmet coming from a $150 LS2 adv helmet, the Klim makes a world of difference... comfortability, buffeting, and weight are the key strong suits. I haven't noticed a lot of noise inside either at speeds. Can hear my bluetooth very well on highways. Got it on sale at revzilla and cycle gear has it same price right now too, 44% off so snag it while its half decent if youre interested.

If you roll the throttle forward it will cancel the CC. It doesn't take much. I found my CC kicking off when I went over bumps, so keeping this in mind, I tried holding the grip very loosely while going over bumps and the CC stopped canceling out. Now that I am aware, I no longer experience this issue.

I know it's too dang hot when I have start closing off vents in an attempt to escape the blast furnace. It's the only time during summer where the 790 airflow is not a bonus. (See what I did there?)

I don't think you rode through that, even with rain mode.

Just rode for a day after 9K mile service. Bike seems much better, smoother. I know it's mostly new oil. But the tech did wonders on bleeding the brakes too. Dealer also agreed with the brake rotor issues and new rotors are on order. A good day, bit cold in the Carolinas, but good.

I seem to remember someone mentioning this last summer...

The last couple of times I've taken the bike out for a ride I have experienced this phenomenon. This is after the bike has sat for weeks due to the cold wet climate we have been experiencing here lately. I fire up the bike and there is a faint wisp of vapor coming up behind the windshield. It has a scent of Ode de Coolant. Once its up to temperature no more vapor or odor.

What's up? I did have the problem with the coolant leak early on which was fixed by tightening up the radiator hose. Oh and there are no coolant piddles on the ground like before. Was there another place that coolant was escaping and not making it to the ground?

same problem. only noticed smell and smoke a total of 2 times. Will mention to dealer on next visit. Also noticed my front brake rotor has started to squeak at sub 10mph+ with no brake applied. Im assuming this is a warped rotor issue.. seeing as I JUST received the bike from dealer after a tire change.

Watch Rottweiler's video on the canister removal. @1:45 he mentioned one of the lines coming down into the canister is a coolant overflow.

Well, that was a waste of time. New display fogs as well. I'll hit them up in the fall, hopefully they fix something.

A nice day here in Portland none the less. Managed to sneak in 100 mi. Then I took my OEM skid plate off and pondered skid plate alternatives and how they might handle various types of drops.

I have the fog already too. Had it twice on my 390. My theory is that they have 10,000 of these displays sitting in a warehouse somewhere. All assembled during typhoon season in SE Asia at 98% humidity
