Thanks. I love learning and that i didn't know.
While cleaning up I noticed them and thought I'd ask. I also noticed a fair amount of oil on the throttle side bottom. Ran a seal saver around it. Check again next week. Don't want to rebuild.

I did this also. So far it’s been totally dry.

    Hello guys.
I hope that in a few weeks i will be the happy owner of a 790 Adventure R. I will order an exhaust for it these days and i am leaning to SC Project and i am also conidering the "decat" pipe. I remember that some time ago there was some mambo jumbo about that involving some "high thermodinamic" phisics that i do not remember form the school, but whatever.
So i was wondering if there are owners that made taht mod and what is the end result?
    Thx

I have the CF SC Project muffler and ceramic coated Arrow decat pipes.
    Sounds lovely!

Read the Rottweiler data; decide for yourself, but there does seem to be ample reason to deliberate.

I've had a straight through decat not the Arrow since just after my 1000km service, I'm almost at 12000km and have not had any noticeable loss of torque and my motor has not blown.

It was the most readily available to me over here in Europe.
I've paired it wat a RapidBike Evo and it has smoothened out the curve a bit.
No power loss nor gains, main reason for no gain is that 8'm running the SC Project with the dB-killer in it to keep the noise down a bit.
    It's quite restrictive.

    Many thanks for your answers.
I'm in Europe too, but i consider the SC Project rally i think it's the name, exactly because it have an easyly removable DB killer.
Now i think i have a lot to read. Thx again.

Tomorrow my 15 tooth sprocket will arrive, so I reserved some time today to remove the OEM 16 tooth sprocket and prepare the bike. I was kinda worried whether I will even be able to remove the sprocket without help from somebody else, so I prepared the heavy artillery (breaker bar) and was ready to admit defeat if need be.

Well, turns out the OEM sprocket was installed barely "hand tight" from the factory. No need for a breaker bar or anything of the sorts, and definitely nowhere near 100 NM (+ Locktite) as required by the repair manual. Fortunately there is no sign of fretting and the splines look good, but still leaves me wondering how well those splines would have held up over time had I not removed the sprocket today... :nah

Actual recall. Spontaneously locking front brakes are even for KTM too dangerous. :muutt

Having the decat pipe ceramic-coated keeps the heat where it's needed and things cooler where it isn't. Did the pipe come this way or did you have it done after the pipe purchase?

I was thinking of something more like this...an actual recall. Is there any such thing for the problem you cite?
