Are you by any chance rising it to 300 mm?

Sheesh...no way! I’m only 6’ tall. I could never handle 300mm suspension for the areas I ride in. I got my 245 raised up to a 265. I bet all of us here love the idea of having 300mm suspension on our bikes, but I really think there is a very limited use for something that tall. Maybe in an open desert it would be good, but anywhere else I think it would suck. But it would look pretty sweet though.

Yeah but, 300mm would be great for chasing Giraffes... You could give em’ a quick flick behind their ears :)

I'm way too old to care about extra suspension travel on a big, fat adventure bike. I use mine for travel. Not for doubling table tops.
A 600# bike has zero business pretending to be a 250CC 2-stroke MX bike.

But, spend the money boys, the suspension guys need to make those Porsche payments. :imaposer

My complete rebuild is all but done. (Sidestand and centerstand stretch is all that’s left)The list of mods is obscene (So is what it did to my wallet) but I am happy with it.

Damn glad you’ve got it back to one. Post that obscene list to help justify ours.
