Seen it... remember that "hearing your valves go out of adjustment" thread? I can hear tight, loose and just right spokes. :lol3

Ok... I'll explain, seeing as how you are not following. Amos and Andy was a popular radio and later, a short lived TV show. All the characters were black and frequently spoke in a stereotypical early 20th century "southern negro accent".
Your "the 04 on bikes got wider rims and its dem dat has z problems. woody sez its sumpin 2 doo wit the tyres nat bean weyed nuff 2 protech dem. po bastages" reminded me of the show.

Well until people are willing to fly at night, I'm stuck wrenchin in the dark. But I am getting to know the European ADVriders pretty well, seeing as they're up when I am!) I'm usually hitting the sack about 9am. Though it's so hot & humid here currently, (9x-1xxf) I'm going to start staying up after work so I can wrench mornings on the bikes, the garage hits 120f around 2pm.

OK, I read all the posts and can't figure it out. Is there a recall or not? I have a 02 Adventure. I haven't had a problem, but I am going to CO for a week and don't want to find out there.

My local dealer has his head up H.D.'s ass and could care less about the KTM's he sells.

add an '04 with 3 flat spots on front rim and.......

    me bad, very very bad......

I know these rims are soft but I totally 'trowelled' myself and my beloved... at about 80kph midway thru the SImpson Desert....

The front wheel cleared, but the rear collected the the biggest hit ever!.. followed by another earth, sky, earth, sky experience for me :kurt

Rear rim was crushed almost into the hub (pics to follow soon)... with the tube exposed! and I rode this another 5kms into camp.... Rim was cranked back out with a 4WD ladder jack! bent 2 spokes during the fix, but none broken from the impact :huh

I rode this square wheel for another 1500kms over mud, claypack, sand dunes and tar (145kph)!.... and no it didn't ride like a circus bike :D

Behr rim + HD tube + Michelin Desert = :bow AMEN!
