Been following your route. Your on a great adventure ! Gonna be a bit dull for a while since you just left the epic north rockies.

As you make your way across Minnesota, keep track of any service or mechanical needs you may want. As you get towards Duluth, I can set you up with whatever you may need. Garage space, wrench help, whatever. :D

I also know alot of ins and outs of what to do and see from Duluth across to Green Bay and Da Yoop.

    Done 214 miles so far.

I local back west of Roundup recommended to eat here.

Yeah, i looked at the Crazy MTs A couple hours ago.

    Good bye rockies.

I am at about 2,500 feet. So high plains drifter status is back.

It was 90 here, but a good tail wind from the west.

7th.Find a good place to camp on the outskirts of Bismark.

8th . Ride to Jamestown and look for a garage.

I stopped in Dickinson and they were backed up for a month.
    Oil boom population growth.
The owner reports a increase in sales, but not in profits. Help gets paid a good amount.
They had a 2013 KLR650 on sale for $6,999, so I guess things cant be that bad. :D
Dude tried to tell me that was MSRP. Do not believe he has his numbers straight. :deal

He said Bismark was taking some of the work load. I will not even look here.

My course of action is lay under the stars with ATGATT
    :eek1

I devolped this course of action in Cartersville, MT.

I stealthed camped in a horrible spot, and the heavy wind that had blown all day up and died before twilight, so they came at me something fierce.

Theh came tbrohgh tbe tarp, and it was too warm for my recon 3 sleeping bag.

I tried a couple of things, but having my gear on did it. Later around 0200, it cooled down enough to go nude and get into the sleeping bag.

ATGATT did the trick here in Fargo.
The sun stays out so long, it takes a while to cool off. And to get into position to insert and bed down.
Will post pjcs in a minjte.

At this pace I will need to spend a solid two weeks each in Ohio and W. VA.

One night in the Chipewaa National Forest was enough to remind me that folk come up here to prepare for Alaska bush. The book "The Final Frontersman" is an example. But winter time acclimation.

When it comes to socilizing my motivation is a 3/10. So I have discontinued the tent space thrad. This allows me to save more money, which is good. The first 40 days i averaged about $35/day. I though it would be much lower. Opps.

Sight seeing. 6/10. It was interesring seeing a Mississippi River sign in Bemidji, MN, even though the beginning is reported to be well south. But i plan on blowing tbrough WI.
    Riding. 7/10. STAMINA IS SOLID.

"Blowing through" Wisconsin would be a big mistake. The sights and unique features .........if you know the secret places and little known gems is mighty cool.

The tourists know of some big ones.....but locals know of ones off the beaten tourist path. All the way across the top shore of Wisconsin are great scenes.....and far cooler temps alot of the time. Further along, the shoreline of Da Yoop holds some amazing stuff too .
