Man, I love that rallye color scheme on the GS. My father-in-law sent me this photo today to show my wife and tell her it was my retirement bike. I told him for what they cost the only way I could have one is if I didn’t retire! I prefer yours over the bumble bee.

I told @voodoo child I liked the Bumblebee edition and decided to buy one. When he got all excited, I had to clarify that I wouldn’t buy one for about 10 years.

I hear that. I tend to buy cars that way too. I started to say I’ll buy your Rallye in 10 years so you can buy the Bumblbbee...but I will be 70 years old then and probably couldn’t get my leg over it!

I had not seen that they brought back this color scheme, I'm a big fan!

I wouldn’t turn one down! The one in the photo is a low suspension model. Both of mine were standard height but I would have loved to have had a low model.

Maybe @lousgoose will trade for one, then it will become available in a month or two.

I had a low suspension F650GS and hated it. I was constantly dragging the centerstand in turns. It didn't even have to be an aggressive curve. Sometimes it would drag turning at a stop light

To be fair (to be faaaaiiir), of all the things I hated about that bike, I hated that the least

    OFF TOPIC warning....

So, I recently was riding and remember seeing a fish/chips place that I wanted to go back and check out. It was in an older 2-story brick building downtown (definitely) in one of the towns right along the river (I'm pretty sure)... Had a sign sticking out off the front of the building... I seem to think it might have been when I went out to Hawesville to get Jeremy's recent tag, but try as I might I can't seem to find it online to go back and check out... Does my description ring a bell to anyone?

So....it's been 6 weeks since the "New Tag". I'm proud of myself for thoroughly stumping you guys. Feel free to PM me for clues. I don't want to post them here and just give it away!

Weather looks nice this weekend, and it’s the only weekend I’ll be in town the next month, so maybe…

Ended up riding 325 really fast miles. I played hooligan/squid today, was running 80-100 most of the day. Had fun hooking up with a Ferrari on 64 and we were running 115mph together, he blinked first :rofl

Fascinating man. Controversial no doubt. Kinda like the Forrest Gump of the west in his day. Didn't know he was a Kentucky born boy.
