Dang it man! I hope your luck turns around on this thing.
Nope. I had just filled up and was pretty happy with the 100MPG I just got. On of my first thoughts was that I got bad gas but normally with bad gas it won't idle. The engine idles just fine but wouldn't take any throttle without bogging down and sounding like it would die.
Loose electrical connection?
Sounds like an air restriction.
Bingo!! You win the grand prize.
I put the plug cap back on and continued my ride.

Gas cap vent plugged, intake boot came off, small animal got sucked into the airbox...?
That just bites, klaviator.
Edit; Whoops... and excellent outcome!
Well at least it was an easy fix. Glad you got her going and back on the road.
Same thing happened to me riding my new Vespa home from the dealer. Easier to fix though, just lift out the pet carrier. No tools needed.
More problems with my Like!!!
This time it sprang a leak
The perfect farkle for that hot Alabama summer riding.
that's a cool shot
My last three fill ups have been: 100, 100 and 106 MPG!!
Best I've seen is 80 mpg. Yours has more than 2x the miles so maybe there is still some breaking in going on with mine.
I think my great gas mileage the last few tanks is mostly due to the extremely low speed limits in Ohio. I spent most of my time here going between 30 and 40 MPH. My mileage for the first 1000+ miles was right around 70. After that I did some riding out in the country and it improved to 80+. Then I decided to try to keep the speeds mostly under 55 around Huntsville and I stayed around 80+MPG. I now have around 3500 miles on mine.
Having lived in socal for a long time (years ago) I can tell you that different gas blends can also have a noticeable impact on gas mileage. So maybe OH and AL have different summer blends? Who knows. Whatever the reason, 100+ is certainly something to smile over.
What true top speed are you seeing on the like?
I haven't GPS'd mine but according to the radar signs I have ridden by my speedo is only 1-2 MPH fast. According to my speedo I am seeing top speeds of around 62-67 MPH. So actual top speed is probably around 60-65. Going down a long steep hill I saw 69 on the speedo. The motor just runs out of steam around 60.
Keep in mind I'm pretty tall so I create a lot of wind resistance.
That’s not bad for a 150!
