Awwww crap....gotta work this weekend.
So Joel....are we on for Sat...?.....where to.....?....
Meet at Ranch Side Cafe at 8am.
Take Little T to SCD 3N17
Then take BPL/4N32 along the power lines to Aliso
Ride across Sito's Trail
Go back up on 4N24
Head to AFH and lunch at Hidden Springs
Mark, if you keep on working on weekends, it will take you years to wear out those Saharas :eek1 Aren't you itchin to put on fresh TKCs?
Yeah...I'm saving money on tires. :huh
I think I may go 908 rear...maybe MT21 front...if I ever wear out the wanna be knobs.
JOEL COUNT ME IN FOR SATURDAY ON THE 640!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT??
StuC., no excuse for you not to ride since it's just 10 minutes away from your house.
About time you put some miles on your cherry 640E. You don't even have 1K on your odo and still has the original factory oil!
see you tomorrow....
I'm in for Saturday. Looks like rain possible Sunday anyway.Manana!
So so far we have
Nowwhat - 950E
Artboy - DR400Z
Espiritu - 950A
Espi - DR650
StuCazzo - 640E
h8chains - XR4
Chris, you're the most senior rider (of course, not necessarily the oldest ) and we have quite a fresh contingent. Bring us home safely and without a single scratch on our bikes!
Maybe this time there will be plenty of photo opportunities!
add 2old2race and starchaser
Joel, I'm towing my XR on a trailer and Terry hauling his KTM in his truck. Where is the best place to stage and what off ramp do I get off the 210 on?
I'll probably qualify as the oldest rider, it always seems to work that way..
Hah! Okay, you explained to everyone they have to wait for the OLD guy, right?
Bob, you may say your old but you ride like a bat outta hell
The exit is Osbourne....
8:00 am at the Ranch Side Cafe. Right guys? I'd like to join in the fun too! OK?
Bob, wow, glad you can make it. If I'm trucking, these are my options.
1. Across 7-11 on Lexicon and Osbourne, 50 ft from the meeting place.
2. La Tuna Canyon trailhead, hikers and bicyclist park their cars here all day. The negative is it's about 3 offramp away south of Osbourne.
3. Hansen Dam Park, it's on Foothill on the otherside (west) of the freeway. It's about half a mile away from where we will meet. Exit Osbourne and turn left. If you turn right, we're right there about 30 yards away.
My cell phone is 818-268-1549
Hope you guys have no trouble finding the place to park.
Brent, good you can make it too. Now we'll get some fresh tracks and good lines to follow . I'm warning you, there are no football sized rocks and big boulders in the area. You will be bored .
Well, since nobody wants to ride Sunday you guys may see me Saturday if I can ditch work early.
Work or ride
NOT SO SOON!
i might make it on a sunday ride. can't make tomorrow, but i can send you a message by tomorrow nite.
