Anyone want to help me do something with these 59 videos I have of the LA-B-to-V Afton Canyon water crossings that my brother took? I have them in my possession now. Can they all be placed on one video and then downloaded onto YouTube? Can someone that's an expert with that send me a private message?

    Thanks

-click File-> Save Movie -> Recommended for this project

Thanks. A friend called me and helped me with it using GoProStudios. However, I'm not getting any sound to the videos.

don't use GoPro editing software. it's not the easiest or best out there.
if you have a Mac, just use iMovie.
if you have a PC, use MovieMaker.

as far as editing all that video, YouTube won't let you post videos longer than 10 minutes until you have been on YouTube for awhile.
so keep the videos short. maybe 5 minutes.
then you just have a few of them instead of all the clips on one video.
when you edit them, cut out all the crap. just post the good stuff.
also, DO NOT USE THE YOUTUBE STABILIZATION SOFTWARE. it will make the videos look like an acid trip.
and you don't want to process all the raw footage. that's a waste of time and memory on your computer. grab what you want to edit, then process that. delete the unnecessary raw footage that you won't use.
if it's Afton Canyon, each rider will get through in under a minute unless it's a drowned bike. which would be awesome to see.

can't wait to see your footage! :clap

PS, watch a few "How to Edit Video" YouTube videos first to gather some tips.

I thought you couldn't use MovieMaker with Windows 10, which is what I have. Sigh.

Did the same water crossing 2 weeks prior. Thought for sure I was going down but I stayed on it & made it through. Of course my boots were soaked. I went from "O CRAP" to "THAT WAS AWESOME"

Yeah you had water coming over your handlebars. That was a little faster than I did it.

Here's some video you might enjoy. It especially shows the hard way through the canyon by Calico. Lots of riders falling over.

Here are more Afton Canyon Water Crossing videos that my brother took.

To the guys that crossed on both sides of the river on the outer sides of the cable, you may have jeopardized LA-B-to-V for next year.

    Still more videos to come...

    AAGGGHHHH! No!

You guys better not have screwed it up. 2016 was going to be my first year doing LAB2V.

Not to mention there's already MLB land grabbing going on all over the place as it is. I don't know about other states but there's not that much room left in CA and CO/UT are constantly having to fight to keep areas from closing.

All riders have got to be excellent stewards of the land. We should almost be bigger tree huggers than the tree huggers who are fighting to have us shut down.

Sorry. I'm done. I know it's not the same, but my dad used to run the B2V back in the day and I'm really looking forward to this. </rant>

I know Afton is part of the fun of doing this ride but are there any legal paths left on west side of 15 from Minniola Rd or Afton Rd to Razor?
