I saw Vegas on Sat will be a high of 58 low of 38!!
But the casinos will be a balmy 72 degrees and full of free beer...
I will be leaving today for Palmdale about 4pm. Will anyone else be in Palmdale tonight? Want to cluster somewhere? I ought to be in town at 7pm. steve
We will roll in to Palmdale from SB around 8:30ish tonight. Driving a new Tundra (brown) with a 950SE in the bed & a silver 12GSA on the trailer. I think we are staying @ the Holiday Inn?.....my riding partner has that info.

Rode up from Bullhead City to Sandy Valley - hooked up with friend Gil and blew through Red Rock to Vegas - got in to Vegas about 3:30 - looped bike on single track on way up from Bullhead - took me 2 hours to get back up ledge to trail - pics & report to follow when not using crackberry as keypad - hopefully I won't be riding to Bullhead in rain tomorrow - time for another cold brew right now
It gets better, too....
Razr and I rode all day, made it over and down Red Rock at twilight, super day, long ride, no KLR problems...

Dude, you were earning your finisher pin!! I was on the 12GSA with Bob on the 950SE that followed you in on Saturday night out the little 20 mile sand wash!
Sorry you missed Red Rock Canyon. We went thru the canyon at sunset and it was awesome.
Glad you made it to Vegas!
Two words from the LAB2V weekend...Holy Crap!!!
Riding the big bikes in this event, we had our fair share of challenges...but we made it thru successfully without problems. Helped a lot of people along the way, some of them were having very long days!
Highlight of the weekend had to be riding red rock canyon. We hooked up with a fellow ADV'r Jim from Maryland & rode thru the canyon. We were furtunate to go thru right at sunset...incredible colors on the mountains!
We are still in Vegas so when I get back to SB tomorrow I'll download what photo's I have.
Glad to see some familiar faces & meet some new one's.
