The mythical Belgium made magical dohicky meant to fix Kraut space magic has arrived and it does as intended. If any of you have an older EFI Kraut (or many other bikes that use ATS instead of Mass airflow sensors) the booster plug really smooths out the bike and keeps it running tip top. Das Ficker is good till the next oil change which will need valves done and the fuel filter/pressure regulator that is $200!!! Damn Krauts...

Ouch - hopefully you’re nearing the end of repair costs - That beemer sure seems to drain a lot of your discretionary funds lately.
If you had thrown all that cash into the xr4 you sold me last year, it would probably be a damn nice bike by now - lol

BTW - i got no room to talk - it’s still sitting in the shed untouched, maybe I’ll get to it this winter. Still trying to justify if I need another running xr4 or should I just leave it there for spare parts.

I've noticed a few CZ's up for sale on the BS forum. Looks like the Beemer is digging into Andrews assets.

Always buying/selling/trading lol. My interests vary too... Now I have discovered that you can swap over a YZ450 front end and get a F800GS shock on there as well to give nearly 10+ inchs of ground clearance... I just need to stop thinking about farkles for this damn beemer and get a dirt bike to trash lol

I am planning to ride both of these events. I haven't did the Rally at the Rocks, but hear it is a great event. I have ridden several Bootleggers and look forward to them every year.
If you guys are looking for some great duel sport riding check them out.

By BS do you mean Bayou Shooter? If so, that used to be a great site that went down hill fast.

I have registered for Rally at the Rock. Will be my first time there and will be bringing an almost new CRF450L. A new friend I met in Colorado that is from Mississippi talked me into going.

Yes, that would be the other BS forum.
You ran into a great guy when you met the other Bob. He is quite the character with a passion for motorcycles.

We were camped next to each other at the Rocky Mountain Adventure Riders rally at Gunnison. Got to talking. My family has a vacation home in Chama, New Mexico. I had trailered to there. Leaving the rally Bob said he was going toward Chama so I told him if he wanted to he was welcome to stay the night at our place. We had a great ride from Gunnison to Chama. As soon as things cool off a bit and I get this new 450L registered I hope to go over and let Bob teach me how to ride it.

Also the main cost is going to be my truck soon... Thermostat is leaking... Time for a Flush, fill and replace. Idler pully is going as well.. And AC compressor is on the way out... So... Yea... Still cheaper than a new truck lol

So far how do you feel about the bike? Been thinking about one myself.

So far I have very little time on it. Have only had it 2 weeks. Hoping to put a few hours on it tomorrow. So far I can only compare it to my Africa Twin and that makes it feel like a mountain bike. The front wheel must be filled with helium cause the slightest bit of throttle will send it to the sky.

Likewise. I still feel guilty for asking you to get the bike up the creek bank. I hope you suffered no ill effects.
I look forward to doing it again in the future.

Did you let him ride it or make him carry it? :-)

If you made him carry it up a creek bank you should be feeling Very Guilty!
