Is the plan to ride down to Seward or Homer and take the ferry over?
Although I think it runs from Whittier and Homer now...no more Seward...
lol, it was the halloween party. Im the one upside down...maybe.
and no can do on the ride tomorrow, us auto hobby kids gotta work so you airdales can come in and work on your cars.
The Homer ferry ride is a about 9 hours each way and runs several times a week.
The Whittier ferry ride is about 22 hours each way and only runs 1-2 times a month.
The Seward ferry terminal has been closed for several years.
More reason to go aviation.
I plan on riding the whole way!
What's a round trip with a bike cost?
Alaska Marine Highway Website
If you don't get a cabin, looks to be about 190 bucks or so, round trip from Homer. Unless you own a KLR, that's not too bad of a price...
No worries...I used to own one myself...
You shouldn't have to take a ferry... That is, unless you really suck at navigation.
Soooooooooooooooo........you saying they give a KLR discount?????:huh
Yes they do! Just tell 'em Spicy sent ya.
to bad you guys didnt find me earlier, I'm working MWR. word on the street is there maybe some new 16ft campers coming in for rentals. Gotta reserve those before them KSS DB's get'em.
oh, and its getting slow down at the autohobby, so come on down and fab somethin for your bike, change its oil, tires, etc. even let you use our nifty bike lift.
Did they get rid of all the hard-sided popup campers??
i think there are 2 of the pop-ups. The type you put in your truck bed. I can check when I go back in.
Also have, ATV trailers (getting some new ones next yr), 14ft 5th wheel campers, 23ft Pacific fishing boats, 17ft whalers.
