From town to the "Y" just past the Olds River and on to Pasagshak; from the "Y" to Chiniak is still dirt.

The road to White Sands Beach (Manashka Bay) is paved.

    Anton Larson is still dirt.

    Pillar Mtn is still dirt.

Saltry is still dirt, rock, swamp, river crossings & cliffs.

At this rate we'll be partying in snow caves instead of the beach house. Supposed to get several more inches in the next couple days.:puke1

I been wantin' to get back in here for a couple days now & give FFFrank a <strike>ration of shit </strike> howdy & few questions about some of these things. But I have been kind of tied up trying to help Fugawi sell his house over here in his 'Retirement anyone?' thread.

I am sure that I was a great <strike>hijack</strike> help. :nod
Oh, yeah, FFFrank almost made it into the first 'ad' I did for Fugawi there in post 27, but it just didn't work out. I've never even met the FF. Maybe next time.
Anyway, tonight seems a little slow here in the Alaska forum, so I was wondering about some of these things that FFFrank says he "learned".

    Then this?

FFFrank?! WTF do we need with this now? I mean, by now you should have been able to comshaw a big ass bird for our round trip 'rescue'. Right? Right?!
This is your mision, do not fail! Ya don't want to be busted back down to E-1 again, do ya? :devildog

If you are looking for a free ride, I can suggest a few things...

#1 - buy a boat, go out into Cook Inlet, and sink it. You'll have Coasties all over your ass in no time.

On second thought, that sounds kinda bad.

#2 - talk to me - the guy that is going to be managing the space-available program there at AirSta. I can hook you up. Of course, unless you are either active duty, a dependant, a reservist on active duty, or a retiree...you are shit outta luck! :lol3

#3 - STFU up and get your ass on the ferry!!! :ricky

Now leave my brudda Coasties alone!

Speaking of P3's, we landed the Argosy in either OME or OTZ and there was a P3 there. The P3 crew had a Grand Tour of our bird, but wouldn't let us look around at theirs.....didn't seem fair at the time.

This is a couple of the Argosy parked here at CSR back in the day.

You ain't been off road on Kodiak until you've ridden a Ruckus flat out at Cliff Point. :D ( I was too terrified to let go of the throttle for fear I'd crash)
